Thanks for joining me for another Nine Favorite Things post.

Hey, hi! I am back again today sharing my weekly favorites! This past (note that instead of past I actually wrote out pastaโฆ) week seemed so long, yet it also flew by. I spent a good amount of my days in the kitchen, and a good amount of my nights on the computer. The thing about running a business, especially one thatโs based online, and through social media, is that thereโs constantly something to be doing. Whether itโs emails, photos, responding to comments, writing a post, or planning new content, there is always something. I love it, and I love that I always have something to do, but a little more downtime on the weekends are nice, and I love these Sunday posts because they allow me to write about the things I enjoy outside of food!
Also, on the topic of responding to comments, Iโm so sorry if youโve left a question this past week and have yet to get a response. I fell behind, but will get caught up today, so look out for those responses! And thank you to everyone who is leaving comments, I LOVE hearing from you guys and always read through every single comment.
In addition to testing new recipes this week, I also spent some time on Instagram stories making a few recipes with you guys. I made my favorite naan, this super easy garlic butter creamed corn chicken, and a summer tomato carbonara from the HBH cookbook. The favorite among everyone was hands down the carbonaraโฆpasta always wins!
Coming up this week on HBH Iโll be sharing a loaded summer salad, a new ice cream treatโฆthatโs a chocolate lovers dream, something simple and tomatoey, and a fresh peach recipe. All good things. All perfect for summer. I cannot wait to share!
As always, if you missed any posts from the past week, be sure to sign up for our weekly and daily newsletters!
Hope you all have an amazing Sunday. Enjoy this weekโs favoritesโฆhopefully with coffee in hand,ย because no Sunday morning is complete without a good cup.
1. July Favorites.ย
Staub Deluxe Panโ I know I have been talking about my cast iron a lot lately, but I have been using it A LOT. I just made another skillet recipe yesterday and I used this deluxe pan which has high sides that are great for one pan and done recipes. Itโs my go-to on a daily basis.
Kate Somerville Goat Milk Moisturizerโ I have been using this all month long and loving it. When I got back from the Bahamas a few weeks ago, my skin was horribly dried out and needed some serious, serious help. This moisturizer along with this RMS beauty oil saved my face and brought it back to life.
RE/DONE Crop Jeansโ love, love, love these jeans. They are causal, cute, everyday jeans and so comfy too. Also, I really love these Leviโs, and they are a lot cheaper too! Win. Win
Sweet Peach Rose Tartโ this was hands down my favorite recipe that I created this month. It wasnโt the most popular recipe of the month, but itโs my personal favorite.
K. Jacques Slidesโ OK. SO. The first time I wore these I was in the Bahamas and got horrible cuts on both of my feet from them. I swore I would never wear them againโฆbut then I went to NYC straight from the Bahamas and they where they only cute shoe I had. I wore them for three days straight and fell in love with these slides. Iโve been wearing them all month and still canโt get enough of them. Not sure what happened the first time I wore them, but I can say that they are super comfyโฆnow. They are almost sold out of the mustard yellow, but here they are in taupe and black/white.
Vince Hoodieโ I LOVE this hoodie. Itโs so comfy, casual, and cute. Perfect for traveling or working from home. Also, itโs majorly on sale right now.
2.ย Favorite Podcastโฆ
I know I mentioned this already, but Iโve really gotten into podcasts the last few months. There are a few favorites that I listen to while photographing recipes, but I recently came across two new ones that I just had to share,ย Girlboss Radio with Sophia Amoruso and My Domaineโs Second Life Podcast with Hillary Kerr.ย Iโve already learned so much from both of these podcasts. Everything from founding your own business, to balancing life, to fashion and beauty. Loving them!
What podcast are you listening to and loving?
3.ย My Favorite Farmers Market Bagsโฆ
The farmers markets are bursting with summer produce and itโs only going to get better and better as we head into August. I love hitting up the market and looking cute with these bags that are perfect for loading up with fresh summer produce and flowers.

4.ย The Half Baked Harvest Cookbook is 50% Off.ย
Here is the deal. I hate self promotion so much and itโs always so hard for me to promote things, but this deal is too good to pass up and I have to tell you about it. Amazon has had the HBH cookbook on sale MAJORLY this week. It is 50% off. I have never seen it this low and have not a clue when they will be changing the price. Soโฆ
If you have yet to get yourself a copy, now is the time. The cookbook is full of all of some of my favorites recipes. Recipes like my go-to 5 ingredient honey butter beer bread, the best BBQ chicken cobb salad, and of course, my summer carbonara that is a huge reader favorite right now.

If youโre looking for a delicious, yet healthy taco recipe, check out my recipe for Superfood Cauliflower al Pastor Tacos.
And since you canโt have tacos without a little tequila, donโt forget to make thisย tequila sangria too. Itโs the best and healthyโฆish.

Wednesday: Hoisin Salmon with Zucchini Slaw

Thursday:ย Honey, Peach, and Brie Panini

Friday: Heirloom Tomato Cheddar Tart with Everything Spice
Check out all the pastย Favoritesย postsย here.
loved all nine things, but my favorite is the last one heirloom tomato cheddar tart with everything spice!
Thank you so much!
Yes, the summer tomato carbonara is sooo good. Itโs hard to get hold of burrata near me, so instead I used a combo of mozzarella & ricotta. Iโve only had burrata once before, but I would definitely recommend this substitute rather than just mozzarella as then you get some creaminess too, yum!!
I am so glad this still turned out amazing for you Sarah! Thank you!
Iโm obsessed with the Influencer Podcast (Julie Solomon). So good!
Ill have to check it out! Thank you!
I want to thank you for your beautiful posts & recipes! You are such an inspiration to so many. Your humbleness is a factor key for being loved by the people around you. I wish you more success always & good luck in all your steps.
Thank you so much Katia!
Hi Tieghan โ I love your blog. I think I make something from it just about every week now. I just got your cookbook in the mail last week, and have already bookmarked several recipes I want to try. I canโt wait!
PS โ Jajaja (on the vegetarian restaurant list) is seriously good, if you need to it narrow down. Just be prepared for a wait if itโs dinnertime.
Oh, wow! Iโve been following you on IG and I have your book (which Iโve badly neglected, no fault of yours). I had no idea your blog was filled with so much goodness! You are all over the place, girl! I have to come back to really dig into these links. Thanks so much, as a blogger, I know you have to work super hard to research, fiddle, and test recipes. I loved your weekly menu on IG today. Iโm trying so hard to create some order in my life with meal prep and planning, and a real focus on healthy eating and some lower carb alternatives to drop some weight. Blah, blah, blahโฆ:)
Iโve been longing for the good old days in blogging where we had giveaways. Iโm going to head over to Amazon and get the deal on your book. Iโll give you a link on my blog when I do it, hopefully within the week, to both your blog and IG. Totally my pleasure.
And then I have to start this damn diet!
Jane x
Thank you so much Jane! I am so glad you are loving my blog and cookbook and I hope you are loving the recipes!

That is so funny! I am sure he would have loved to say hello. Anyway, I am so glad you are loving my blog and recipe, thank you!
Are you doing ok with all those fires?
Hi Marge! Yes my family and I are all doing well. There is a lot of smoke in the air, but we have not been affected by them. Hoping everyone is safe!
That tart looks insane!!!
Thank you!
You should hit up the restaurant called Amaranth in nyc โ itโs one of my new top favorites. And yay for that Kate Somerville lotion! Another favorite of mine as well, in addition to her Dry Skin Saver lotion.
Thank you so much Liz! I will try to get there!
