Itโs hereโThanksgiving week!
Howโs everyone feeling? Ready to go, or totally unprepared? Whatโs the vibe? If youโre stressed or anxious, just remember this: no one will care at the end of the night if you didnโt make every single dish on your list, or if the turkey wasnโt perfect. And if something goes completely sidewaysโbecause it happens to all of usโjust pivot and keep going. Thereโs always takeout!
What people remember are the stories shared around the table, the warm, cozy atmosphere you create, and the good conversations that make the night special. Do what you can ahead of time, then give yourself grace on the big day. No Thanksgiving dinner is ever perfectโand thatโs exactly what makes them memorable.
Embrace the imperfections, breathe, and remind yourself that a stressed host can shift the whole mood. Stay calm, be kind to yourself, and let yourself enjoy the night too. You deserve that as much as anyone at the table.
If youโre still planning, hereโs my full menu and timelineโI hope it helps!
Iโm really looking forward to this week, Thanksgiving, and all the holiday moments ahead. After a full week of travel and creating so much festive magic, I canโt wait to start sharing. I may have to include a few teaser photos belowโฆ Iโm too excited not to!
New York was busy and magical. I truly love it there, and Iโm excited to be back and forth throughout December. Itโs going to be a full month of travel and fun projects I canโt wait for. The first half of the week was spent on set filming a holiday feature weโll be sharing in December, then on Thursday we celebrated the launchโand incredible successโof our new Christmas candle, Merry Mint Mocha. The 6-ounce candle even sold out on launch day! If you havenโt ordered yours, the scent immediately brings to mind the beloved peppermint mocha. We debated naming it exactly that! Think peppermint cream with sea salt, vanilla marshmallow, cocoa shavings, and caramel swirl. Itโs the coziest candle to burn all night while you cook, bake, and decorate this week.
The night was magical, and Iโm so grateful for all the support and everyone who helped bring this candle to life. I hope you love it as much as I do. In my dream world, Iโll get to keep creating more candlesโthis Christmas scent might be my favorite yetโฆ though Gingerbread, Pumpkin Smash, and Apple Cider Smash are close seconds.
Iโm excited to spend this week at home, cooking for my family. For Thanksgiving night, Iโm planning something special for the group Iโm hosting this year. I love creating menus tailored to the people at the tableโit makes the night feel so meaningful.
Itโll be a busy weekend, but Iโm especially looking forward to decking the halls on Friday. My brother offered to cut down my Christmas tree this year, and I canโt wait! Now I just need him to hang the lights tooโmy least favorite task. Luckily, my dad or one of my brothers always steps in. They really are the best.
Thatโs all for today! Keep an eye out for some last-minute holiday dishes coming this week. And have the happiest Thanksgiving!!

lovingโฆย the new Eterine wide-legย sweatpantsย andย crewneck;ย both are so good. This is my travel look every single time I fly. And I sleep in this lounge pant every night. The softest material.
wantingโฆ everything in cashmere from Guest in Residence. My sister, my mom, and I love their pieces. They always launch the best winter collections. I already ordered this Cross Country Bomber Jacket. Asher will be obsessed with these moon boots. Added to her Christmas list. This is the perfect holiday sweater, and this Grizzly Frankie Jacket is so cute!. And I want this Quilted Puffer Jacket.
everything in my cart (low)โฆthe perfect cozy coat from Zara. I say this all the time, but Zara launches the best pieces. The winter launch is my favorite to date.
And the holiday pieces! A festive Satin Effect Dress and gorgeous Tailored Leather Coat With Fur that I would style with this Short Hair-On Leather Skirt,ย knit top, and boots, plus leather gloves too!

orderedโฆa new stand mixer, I love the copper bowl!
shoppingโฆpieces for my mom. Christmas is coming! I love getting her things sheโd never get herself. Currently on my list, a beautiful wool and cashmere-blend zip-up cardigan.ย I know how soft thisย hand-knit sweater in silk chain yarn is, and she would adore it, but she hates it when I buy her expensive sweaters.ย So maybe something more like this J.Crew Fair Isle snowflake sweater in vintage wool.
Wool dresses are what you have to wear this winter. Mom would love this unique knit wool maxi dress layered with a cashmere scarf.
Lastly, a very cute, very cozy Cable Knit Puffer. Though I think sheโd want a hood!

everything in my cart (beauty)โฆI mentioned last week that I love the May Lindstrom skincare line.ย Here is what I am using: theย botanical facial mist, then the youth dew serum, and right over that, theirย blue cocoon daily moisturizer. Their products arenโt cheap, but they are working so nicely for my skin. If you try just one thing, it should be the youth dew serum. It provides hydration and vitamins with 21 regenerating and indulgent plant and botanical oils. Itโs really been keeping my skin hydrated.
And holiday nails! Iโve been having so much fun with holiday nails. I currently have the prettiest shade of red, itโs this CND โBordeaux Babeโ. So pretty! This OPI Star-zipan on the Tree is almost identical. Loving this evergreen color, this prettiest metallic brown, and shimmery red too.

5. Entertaining Tips and Tricks.
Store holiday decor with cinnamon sticks
Add a few cinnamon sticks into the box with your decorations. Next year, when you pull out your stockings, garlands, and wreaths, theyโll already smell like the holidays.
Make the Home Smell Like Christmas
Nothing is cozier than a holiday simmer pot. I mix cider or water with fresh pine or rosemary, cinnamon sticks, winter citrus, and a splash of vanilla. Simmer it on the stove or in a Crock-Pot all day to fill the house with the scent of Christmas baking. You can even strain the reduced liquid and simmer it into a syrup for a festive cocktail with champagne and juice. For more details check out on this post!
Have a couple effortless recipes up your sleeve
During the holidays, you never know who might stop by. I always keep a few easy appetizers on hand. My go-to: a block of cream cheese whipped with honey, topped with dried cranberries, chopped rosemary, and flaked sea salt. If you want to take it up a notch, make my and serve it with salted pretzel twistsโitโs a crowd-pleaser and so simple.
Have a back-up dinner
If things get stressful or plans change, have an all-in-one backup dinner like lasagna ready to go. It takes away so much pressure.
Set the table the night before
This is a tip from my Nonnie, the ultimate entertainer. She always set the table the night before any dinner party. It ensures everything looks exactly how you want and removes that last-minute rush on the day of your event.
Make lasting traditions while decorating the tree
Our family tradition is making the biggest bowl of popcorn and setting out cranberries, hot chocolate, whipped cream, and cookies. We decorate the tree, dance to Christmas music, and thread popcorn and cranberry garlands. Itโs simple and sweetโand it makes the night feel magical.
Use a rental company
If youโre hosting a big group and need extra plates, glasses, or utensils, a rental company can save so much stress. They deliver everything, and after the event, you just pack the dirty dishes into the crate and send them backโno washing required. Itโs worth it if you can swing it.
Create your tablescape with seasonal produce
Bring your holiday table to life with seasonal fruits, herbs, and greenery. Pomegranates, citrus, fresh rosemary, and olive branches add color and texture with almost no effort.
The make-ahead menu
My best tip for hosting is to build a make-ahead menu so youโre not stressed on the day of. Pair it with a good bottle of wine or a signature holiday cocktail, plenty of candles, and a great Christmas playlist. Itโs all you need for a cozy, memorable night.
