Hey everyone!
Currently in Charlotte and feeling so loved! The last two nights were pure magic. Both Nashville and Charlotte really showed up – the kindest stories, the warmest hugs, and so many of our amazing HBH family. These events have been so special, and I’m honestly a little sad they’re over!
Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel the December events. The stores are just too busy during the holiday rush, and it becomes difficult for their teams to manage sales and customers while hosting such large groups.
I’m definitely disappointed, but I know it’s the right call so that every experience stays positive and relaxed. Everyone who purchased tickets has been refunded. But don’t worry, I’m already dreaming up new ways to bring us all together in December. More to come soon!
I’m home now, resting up and feeling so grateful. There’s a lot ahead, so I’m recharging and getting excited for all that’s coming. I hope you’re soaking up these short but sweet November days, they’re some of my favorites!
Let’s do a quick recap of this week. The Thanksgiving Menu is now live! I love this year’s theme – the make-ahead recipes, the tablescape, the cozy fall photos. I’m working on a shorter Thanksgiving Day timeline, too, since I know some of you like having a cleaner, more simplified version. It’s been so fun seeing how much you’re all enjoying the menu!
Next up… Christmas! I have a few fun ideas brewing, but I’d love to know, what would help or excite you most this season? Christmas dinner? A holiday party menu? A cozy Christmas morning breakfast? Let me know in the comments. I want to make sure this season feels extra special for you!
And our holidays just got a little sweeter, the new HBH x Snif candle, Merry Mint Mocha, is here! You all know how much I love my holiday candles. They make the season so warm and cozy. I burn them nightly. They bring me so much comfort and remind me of my Nonnie, who I miss more and more each year. This one in particular feels so nostalgic to me — sweet, minty, and chocolatey, just like her kitchen at Christmas.
Plus, our Home Chef Thanksgiving side dish is live! So many of you have already ordered it — how fun is that?! If you love the idea of HBH dishes delivered straight to your door, just wait. If all goes well, we’re planning a full Thanksgiving menu for next year. No one has to know you didn’t cook a thing – your secret is safe with me!
Have you started watching holiday movies yet? Netflix and Amazon already have so many good ones. Mom and I are working on our annual Christmas movie list. It’s become a little tradition we love, so keep an eye out for that soon!
Here are all my favorites from this week — gift guides, holiday finds, and so many cozy links. Enjoy another November Sunday, friends!

My personal facialist and good friend Cynthia Rivas is offering 15% off all products on her website now through December as a special HBH family discount. Use the code TIEGHAN15 on all products on her site. Or buy your bestie, mom, or mother-in-law a facial. Such a sweet idea!
everything in my cart (low)…as always, Zara has the best selection. Let’s start with the coats. I love this chic Quilted Trench Coat With Faux Fur Collar, and this Fleece Bomber Jacket is a great everyday, warm coat. I added their 100% Wool Oversized Sweater to my mom’s Christmas list. And this cute Knit Cardigan with Faux Fur Collar to my little sister, Asher’s list.
And last, with so much travel this month and next, we need cozy sets for the plane, recommending the Fleece Wide Leg Pant and Basic Hoodie.
H&M next! This Fluffy Trimmed Jacket. How sweet! A cozy Oversized Alpaca Sweater. And very chic, holiday dinner-worthy, Knit Peplum Top.

Reformation has incredible mid-price range pieces (if you need a holiday dress, Reformation is a great place to shop!). I have this Sheer Alpaca Sweater in my cart.
I am thinking about maybe getting these Shearling Over-The-Knee Boots from UGG for my mom. I’ve never seen a style like this from them, but I think my mom might love them. But she would probably like the black. What do you all think? They would sure be nice on snowy mountain days.

My Dress From the Shoot
I recently put together a care package for a friend who’s been on the road nonstop for work. His wife has been juggling everything at home — two kids, the house, and a few health struggles — so I wanted to make their week a little easier. I sent them a basket of our holiday candles and dinner from their favorite restaurant.
Of course, everyone loves candles, but it was the dinner that meant the most. It gave them a night off — time to sit down, relax, and enjoy a warm, comforting meal with a candle burning nearby. I ordered extra so they’d have leftovers the next day, too!
I just love this idea for the holidays — it works for so many occasions. A thoughtful hostess gift, a surprise for a friend, or a sweet gesture for someone going through a hard time. Whether it’s to celebrate or to comfort, it’s one of those gifts that always feels meaningful and appreciated.
That, to me, is the true magic of the season — finding little ways to care for others and bring a bit of warmth and joy into their days.

Our 2025 Thanksgiving Menu is live! Now I want to start sharing my best Thanksgiving tips — and answer any questions you might have.
But first, I want to hear from you! What are your biggest Thanksgiving questions this year? Cooking, hosting, timing — anything goes. Leave them below, and I’ll do my best to help make your day stress-free and extra special.

Make traditions that last
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the moment when the kitchen is finally clean, the fire is burning, and our family Christmas tree is glowing with lights, always with classic Christmas music playing in the background.
Mom pops the biggest bowl of popcorn and sets out a bowl full of cranberries. There’s hot chocolate, slices of pie, and lots of whipped cream. We spend the night decorating the tree, dancing to Christmas music, and threading strands of popcorn and cranberries — simple traditions that feel so special. It’s such a special, cozy night. It’s usually just the girls, my dad, and my little brother, Oslo, while the boys wander off. I love it so much. It’s the sweetest way to end Thanksgiving and welcome the holiday season.
Share your own tips, traditions, and questions below — let’s make this space our Thanksgiving planning table!

I look forward to reading your blog every Sunday and love making your recipes! I would love this Christmas season some fun recipes to make with my kids to make this winter season cozy and fun for them, I would love to include them in our Advent calendar activities! Also a simple Christmas morning breakfast to share with my husband and kids before we head off to the big family dinner! Thanks again!
Hey Kylie,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read each Sunday, it means so much to me!
I can definitely work on some fun ideas to make with the kiddos, as well as something cozy for Christmas morning! Thanks for your suggestion:) Happy Holidays!
I’m making your Chocolate Covered Espresso Spiced Pretzels to garnish my Chocolate Pecan Tart! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much, Susan!! Love to hear this:) Happy Thanksgiving!
Will you be sharing pictures of your renovated kitchen/work space? I saw the designer post pictures of the completed space. Would really love to see process pictures and a dedicated post all about the details and how the renovation went from start to finish.
Hey Dawn,
You bet! I can’t wait to share everything with you all, thanks for asking! Have a great Sunday!
Sorry that the WS last two stops were cancelled! I was so honored that you were going to be in my home state of NH and was looking forward to attending. It does make sense that December is so busy that maybe it wasn’t the right time for it.
In terms of our thanksgiving, usually guests who come contribute to our sides. I wanted to ask you, with all your brothers and their families, do you all coordinate in whose brining what? I am sure that they would love to contribute and maybe choose what to bring but with your professional life being food related, the preparation for the meal falling to you. Wanted to get some advice on how to handle coordinating sides and hear what you do. Do you ask them to bring something specific and send a recipe or be more open to anything they bring? What if some do not want a traditional thanksgiving. One of my guests wants lobster instead of a turkey, not sure how I can accommodate everyone!
Hi Heather,
Thank you so much for your message, I am so sorry the event in NH was cancelled, I am so sad!
For Thanksgiving, I tend to cook everything myself lol. I know I should have others help, but that’s just me:) For you, I would suggest delegating and letting each person know what they should bring. That way, you know all of the dishes that you be enjoying that day and there won’t be duplicates. If you have a specific recipe you want them to use, I think it’s totally fine to share that too!
I hope this helps, you definitely can’t accommodate everyone:) Happy Thanksgiving!
Hi Tieghan, Another great post 😊
Our family tradition is similar to yours of cutting down Christmas tree, listening to Christmas music and sipping homemade hot cocoa while decorating the tree – but the Saturday after Thanksgiving haha! We like to cook, eat good food, then relax and play games on Thanksgiving.
I agree with another post about maybe relaxing this year as you’ve done so many recipes in the past so maybe a recap? This year I’d like to personally focus on apps that are fresher, healthier, and require less prep time so I can spend more time with kiddos and not feel so heavy after the holidays! Have a great week, T!
Hey Courtney,
Thanks a lot for taking the time to read today:) I love your family tradition, thank you for sharing, it sounds so special!
I appreciate your suggestion for relaxing and doing a recap of recipes from years past. Thanks for your ideas! Have a great Sunday!
Such a great read this morning – one of the best emails I get all week. 💕 In regard to what would benefit the most this Christmas season – I love the Christmas morning breakfast idea. This is our first year not spending the holiday with my father-in-law, and I’d like to start new traditions with my husband. We always spent the day with our Pops, and breakfast wasn’t something we were able to work into the schedule. But now we will be tucked in at home without a busy schedule – just us two and the Christmas day. I need to help bring new and happy holiday memories for my husband after our loss earlier this year. Breakfast is a great start. All my love to you and your family this holiday! ❄️💗
Hi Daun,
Thanks a bunch for reading each week:) Good to know you like the Christmas morning breakfast idea! Sounds like a good way to make new family traditions and relax at home. Wishing you all the best and happy holidays!
When are you sharing your renovation pics? I saw Amber made a post but then removed it – I assumed you told her to take it down because you were going to be sharing soon, but I haven’t seen any pics! Sharing by end of November?
Hi Dylan,
I plan to share soon, I promise! I cannot wait, it is such a special space and I am so excited! Happy Sunday!
Thank you, again, Tieghan, for sharing your recipes, thoughts and ideas. My prayer is that this beautiful season will fill people’s hearts with joy and thankfulness. I’ve sent your newsletter to our two oldest granddaughters for fashion ideas and our two little granddaughters will be cooking up a storm with your recipes while they’re here Thanksgiving week.
Hi Marilyn,
Happy Sunday and thanks for reading! I appreciate you sharing the newsletter with your granddaughters:) I hope everyone loves the recipes that you choose to make. Happy Holidays!
Hi there! Will there be a home tour coming soon? I saw a sneak peek on Amber Lewis’s Insta and I could not be more excited to see the results of this collaboration!
Hey Jennifer,
Yes! I cannot wait to share with you all, it’s so beautiful! Thanks for asking:) Have a great Sunday!
Can you please put up the rest of the Thanksgiving recipes today please? It’s cutting it close for people to prepare & test!
Hi Jane,
So sorry about that, all of the remaining recipes will be shared this week! Have a great Sunday!
Hi Tieghan, a request for next year— can you please have the recipes all ready and published sooner? End of next week is really too late. Family starts arriving the week before Thanksgiving, so all the new recipes need to be tested prior. I think it’d be helpful in future years if you took some feedback from followers to understand what would be helpful. I understand you’re trying to drive site traffic, but it’s just cutting it too close.
Thanks for sharing this feedback, Sally! Will certainly take this into consideration for next year!
my vote is for a Holiday party menu – easy/heavy apps – thanks!
Thanks for this suggestion, Lisa! I appreciate you taking the time to comment today! Happy Sunday!
The book has been out over a year now and you’ve had multiple cancellations for events, maybe it’s better to just leave it be!
Thanks for your feedback, Diane! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
I would love a cozy Christmas breakfast idea! My elderly parents are visiting and it would be so nice to wow them!
Thanks for your input, Kelli!!
Thanks for another great ‘Nine Favorites’ post, Teagan!
A holiday tradition to share that, perhaps this year more than most, is so meaningful: gift food to a local food pantry. Not just for the holidays, but year ’round. Knowing that others will have nourishing food to enjoy is one of the most heartwarming gifts one can give.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this morning, Lynne!
I appreciate you sharing your holiday tradition, donating food to those in need is such a thoughtful tradition.
Have a great Sunday and Happy Holidays!
I am so sad that your event in SaleM, NH has been cancelled. Will you be rescheduling a book tour stop in this area? Since your first cookbook came out, the majority of the recipes I use are from HBH. I’ve shared so many of your recipes with friends that many of them are now HBH junkies as well. A friend saw that you’d be within two hours of our town for the event and surprised me with tickets and planned a fun no kids, no husbands allowed road trip. I hope that we will be able to reschedule soon!
Hi Jessica,
Awww, that sounds like such a special trip your friend planned for you. I am SO incredibly sorry that the stop was cancelled. I would love to do something in person very soon. I will definitely share updates if we are able to make it happen.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
Don’t worry about the WS cancellations. Things always happen for a reason. Take some time to rest and take care of yourself! I love Christmas but honestly don’t need another Christmas guide or cookie box idea. You should just do a recap of past years and just relax this season!
Thank you, Nancy💕 This really means so much to me. I like your idea of doing a recap of past years, thanks for sharing! Have the best Sunday!
