Just like last year, April threw me a few too many curveballs. We had so many wins this month—which I’m so thankful for—but also a few losses along the way. Nothing major, just life doing its thing! When I look back, though, wow, we packed a lot into these past few weeks. Lots of back-and-forth trips to New York, tons of meetings, Zoom calls, and of course…lots and lots of cooking, especially here at home this week.
My time in New York, and our event with Benny, were such highlights. Truly, those are the days I’ll always look back on and smile. So much fun and so much gratitude for those moments.
Of course, there were a few bumps in the road too—that’s just part of running a business. One opportunity we were really excited about ended up falling through. But honestly, I feel good. I’m a big believer that when one door closes, another (even better) one opens. Everything happens for a reason, and I know the right things will align when the time is right.
There’s a lot of exciting stuff happening behind the scenes! We just launched a new community page—it’s free to sign up and packed with exclusive content, conversations with community leaders, live chats with me, and more. The first live chat will take place on Tuesday. This one is solely for our new community leaders, but the page will be open to all very soon! I seriously can’t wait for you all to be a bigger part of this space.
We’re also planning more in-person events nationwide – details to follow soon! Plus, we’re getting ready for a fun new spring/summer photoshoot for the site. Between travel, cooking, and all the changes happening in May, things feel a little crazy—in the best way. Overwhelming, exciting, a little scary…but mostly SO GOOD.
Before I go, if you have any recipe requests for May, please send them my way! I’m so excited to start sharing fresh new spring and summer dishes. Woohoo!
That’s my update for this week. Wishing you the best Sunday!

ordering…Dandelion Chocolate bars! These bars use the best ingredients and are always super pretty too. For Mother’s Day, I want to get my mom the 85% and Above Three‑Bar Gift Set because she only eats dark chocolate.
everything in my cart (low)…it’s summer at Zara! This brown Polka-Dot Bikini and matching Polka-Dot Bikini Bottoms are so cute. I never want to buy an expensive bikini, so I immediately added this to my cart! The polka-dot AND this pretty, but classic Black Bikini too.
Pair your bikinis with this pretty Embroidered Top and Cropped Baggy Low Rise Denim Shorts. Finish the look with these Wedge Sandals.
And a really pretty Voluminous Short Dress. Add these simple black sandals.
And if it’s chilly, the perfect Oversized Cotton Trench Coat.
The new Staud Mini Taru Bag is the perfect summer shade!
listening to…Confessions of a Female Founder with Meghan Markle. New to me, but some episodes sound interesting! Also been listening to The Mel Robbins podcast and going back through previous episodes.
My favorite of the week has been this conversation with . I already loved both Samis, but listening to them speak about their business made me love them more. And if you haven’t shopped Form activewear, they have some of my favorite pieces.
working out with…Form! Signed up and excited to try the strength training classes.
dreaming of going to…the
loving…, sea salt sprays (the Aprés Beach Wave and Shine Spray from Oribe is my favorite), and this .
gifting…this is so random, but Swedish Candy! And shipping it directly to my brother, Brendan, in LA. He has always loved Swedish fish, and this is a fun variety pack.
watching…Butterfly in a Blizzard on Apple ($5.99) Amazon Prime ($7.99), and Vimeo ($6.00). — Filmed over five years, this movie set out to document professional snowboarder Kimmy Fasani’s journey into motherhood, but ultimately ended up capturing so much more.
wanting spring nails…and loving this shade “Love Is in the Bare Nail” from OPI. Ordering the Manucurist polish in Hortencia to match it! Also, I do love a too.
everything in my cart (beauty)…according to all the beauty editors, the Dior Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara is the best waterproof mascara on the market. I don’t usually wear waterproof mascara, but with summer coming and pool days ahead, I need to give it a try!
After years of never wearing perfume, I’m finally getting into it! The new Atelier des Fleurs Cedrus Intense Eau de Parfum from Chloé sounds lovely with notes of cardamom, lemon, rose, and cedarwood.
I love the Saie Beauty Dew Blush Liquid Cream Blush in ‘Spicy’. It’s such a pretty shade for summertime skin and the easiest to apply.
And speaking of summer skin, I recently read reviews that this Yummy Skin Soothing Serum Skin Tint Foundation (with Peptides + Ceramides) is the secret to a glowy summer complexion. I’m new to the brand, Danessa Myricks Beauty, but added the skin tint to my Sephora cart this week!
loving…this pretty home in Martha’s Vineyard. Also, this . So sweet and charming.
everything in my cart (high)…I’m not usually a raffia croche girl, but I do love the Sardine Chain raffia crochet bag from Bottega.
These Louis Vuitton LV Sneakerina are fun. I love the Beige Clair color.
This Mother-of-Pearl Turtle, Shell Leather Necklace reminds me of my Nonnie! It’s super cute! I would wear this all summer or on vacation.
looking to travel…here are ! Fun!

I’ve been looking for a side hustle; this economy is tough! What’s the salary for a community leader?
Hi Dolores,
This is not a paid position, it’s completely volunteer and meant to be something fun and exciting for our community:) Thanks for reading today! xx
Thanks for another great read! I’ve really been enjoying the warm weather! Do you have an ETA on when your cookware will be available to purchase? Dying to get some new pieces!
Thanks so much for your kind message, Renee! So sorry, we do not have a launch date at this time. I will definitely let you know! Have a great week! xx
Wow, that was a lot of dirty dishes in your instagram story today! Does your dad wash all of those when he gets home from his vacation? I know you don’t have a microwave, but do you have a dishwasher?
I’m excited to hear more about the community leader stuff, that sounds neat!
Hi Cora,
I wash all of the dishes when my dad is out of town and yes, I have a dishwasher:) Thanks for reading today! Happy Sunday! xx
I’m retired and I look forward to your blog each Sunday. I love your links and have learned of so many new sites to follow thru you. Your recipes have gotten me interested in cooking again. I feel like your blog has helped me stay young! Life is a struggle sometimes and your honesty about that is reassuring that I am not alone. I would like to see even more links and blogs like yours. When people share their knowledge and connect me to interesting sites on the internet, I feel like it keeps my brain working! Thanks for sharing your life and your family with everyone on your blog. The recipes are a bonus!
Hi Scarlett,
I truly appreciate your kind message today:) I am so glad you enjoy these Sunday posts as much as I do and thanks for making so many recipes! Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday! XxT
When will your cookware line be launching? I’m in need of some new things but have held off for yours!
Hey Alice!! We don’t have any date of launch. I’m sorry I wish had something for you!
What products are you looking for? I can direct you to my favorite pieces!
Oh bummer 🙁 thanks for letting me know!
I’m torn – I know when you guest hosted the view you said that you love caraway, but I don’t see you use them a lot so I’d rather use something that you trust & use consistently! The other thing I’m a little indecisive on is that your sheet pans seem to be pretty blackened – is that a finish issue or just a lot of wear and tear? If I’m spending good money on pans I would like for them to hold up.
Let me know your thoughts! Thank you!!
Thank you, Alice:) It’s just wear and tear… I also love Staub products, those will last a lifetime!
Good morning Tieghan, things that are inspiring me right now….the warmer weather …finally, arranging my daughter’s bridal shower in June and enjoying the spring flowers that are starting to bloom in my front and back gardens. I’ll be travelling to Miami, Chicago, Austin and the UK this year. I feel very blessed and grateful. Thank you for your blog. Always my favourite read Sunday mornings !
Hi Marlie,
Thanks for reading today and sharing the things inspiring you right now:) I think we can all agree with the warmer weather. I’m sure your daughter’s bridal shower will be wonderful, what a special time for your family! Wow, that’s a nice little travel list for the year, how great for you to be able to do that! Happy Sunday! xxT
Happy Sunday, Tieghan! We just (yesterday) got home from a week in Miami! So relaxing, great food, fun cocktails, and all the vacation vibes! I’m happy to be home now, though, enjoying a simple cream scone and tea!
I’m looking forward to a graduation tea for the sweet daughter of a friend! I’ve coordinated it for her, and my brain has been all flowers, tea sandwiches, fairy lights, and dresses – LOL. She’s SO excited! This is their last hurrah before all the girls all scatter to college, and I’m so blessed she asked me to help! (Made me a little emotional that she thought of me.)
All the new growth of spring is making me happy right now – even after rain showers – when EVERYTHING is all fresh and new! I don’t grow flowers/plants, but seeing my perennials come back is my favorite thing!
Hi Kerita,
Happy Sunday and thanks for taking the time to read today. How awesome you were able to spend some time in Miami this past week, so great you were able to relax! The graduation tea you are putting together sounds so lovely, how fun and what a special time for the girls! Yes, I can totally relate with all of the spring growth, it’s the best! Have a nice day! xxT
I’m currently working on booking a hotel for the Winter Olympics in Italy next year after scoring some tickets in May (we didn’t get the first lottery slots in February)! Are you and your family excited about going as well? Do families get different access to tickets or are you stuck in thr lottery with us mere pedestrians?
I was hoping you would share your Easter menu and table decor! Maybe you will be able to share Mother’s Day with us instead!
Hey Erin,
Thanks so much for reading today! Yes, we will be at the Olympics next February:) I don’t believe we had any special access for tickets, luckily my mom took care of that for us, she was on top of it! It should be super fun, that’s awesome you will be there! I don’t typically share an Easter or Mother’s Day menu, usually just a round up of favorite recipes. For example:
https://fett-weg.today/easter-recipes-2025/%3C/a%3E%3Cbr /> https://fett-weg.today/mothers-day-recipes/%3C/a%3E%3Cbr /> I hope this helps to give you some ideas! Happy Sunday! XxT
Oh I’m so glad to hear you will finally be taking some time off work & vacationing with your family! You deserve it! ❤️
I have some links for clean perfume if you’d like me to send them to you! The one you linked above has a lot of chemicals & endocrine disruptors. I know you try to stay away from those. ❤️
Hi Brittany,
Yes!! That would be amazing:) Thank you so much! Happy spring and thanks for reading! xT
Where is the community page to sign up and what makes someone a community leader?
Hi Diane,
I will share that link once it becomes available to the public:) We had a team who hand selected the community leaders. Thanks for reading today! Happy Sunday! xT
As always, 9 Favourite Things is a great way to ease in to Sunday morning. I am looking forward to shifting to spring cooking and deciding which recipe I’ll try fiagain rst! Quick note – I believe that that Meghan (formerly Markle – not Markel) goes by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. I am looking forward to listening to her podcast too! Thank you for a being a part of my Sunday morning!
Thanks so much for taking the time to read today, Cindy! Let me know which spring recipes you end up making, it’s always so great to use new produce that’s in season. Thanks for the note on Meghan:) Happy spring Sunday! xx
There is a typo in my post too! Apologies for that. Happy Spring Sunday to you too!
I’m surprised you use fragrance and perfume but don’t use soap? I know you don’t like “funky ingredients” so I’m a little surprised at this?
Hey Morgan! I try to burn only clean candles and am learning about clean perfumes and the best brands!
I love candles too much to not burn them!
Have a wonderful week!
Love the content, Tieghan!
I’m currently enjoying my daughter’s senior year. Prom was last night, graduation parties are the next few weeks then graduation, then we’re getting her ready to go to college. Such a fun time to see her start her life!
Hi Jennifer,
Thanks so much for reading today!! Awww, what a special time. So fun and I’m sure you both are making so many memories. Thanks for sharing:) Happy spring Sunday! xT
I still pop in every Sunday! I am vegan so rarely find recipes here but still love the site! I especially enjoy the NYC content as my daughter lives there and I adore the place. I have never been able to get a table at Don Angie, San Sabino or The Polo Bar and am slightly envious of your dining prowess :). I miss Oslo pics lately (but I also respect his privacy if that’s what’s going on.) One question… any kitchen towels you love the look of? Something you don’t mind keeping out and visible?
Hey there,
Thanks so much for reading when you can:) So glad you are able to enjoy the NYC content! I always have the best time when I visit. For kitchen towels, I always love anything from Anthropologie, they are always super cute! I hope this helps! Happy Sunday! xx
Thanks for the article on “clean cleaning”! Personally, I use a LOT of white vinegar & baking soda, with kosher salt added when I need to scrub.
I react (migraines) to any heavily scented product & it seems that over the last few years, every manufacturer of cleaning products wants to make them smell. It makes traveling g difficult-laundry products that smell good to some people are too heavily scented for me. Same thing with crowds. There are stores that are off limits. I’ve learned to live with all of that. But when it comes to my home, the few simple items I mentioned are really all I need. I found a great idea for carpet freshener: baking soda with a few drops of lemon extract.
Keeps forever in a Mason jar & works great.
The vinegar smell dissipates after a bit, maybe 30” max, so my house doesn’t smell like a pickle factory! Plus, no extra additives. Calling it a win!
As far as summer plans-our dog needs a refresher in “leave it”-so we can play Frisbee with only one Frisbee, & she needs to learn to settle in the car. Doggie summer school will be in session soon. Happy Spring!
Hi Dale,
Happy Sunday and thanks for reading today! Happy to share the cleaning article, thanks for sharing what works well for you. I can totally understand where you are coming from with all of the strong scents manufacturers use in different products. I like to avoid those as well:) Have a great spring day! xxT
Same here! I use A TON of white vinegar and baking soda for cleaning!
Yes!! Baking soda and white vinegar for the win when it comes to cleaning.
