Hi everyone! Iโm so excited to be back here this week. Iโm feeling extra grateful for the community we have here, the love I see daily for the recipes, and even these Sunday Favoriteโs posts!
I just got back from dinner in NYC. We went to Chez Margaux and had the nicest time! While at dinner, I was telling a good friend about some things I want to be leaning into and focusing on. He reminded me that while itโs great to have new ideas, wants, and desires, I should reflect on and appreciate what weโve already built and not play it down. He reminded me that itโs OK to lean back into the cooking. I donโtย always have to feel like I need to be looking for new ways to grow!
It was a nice reminder that what weโve already built is pretty amazing. A lot of times, I can go, go, go. Finishing up one thing, then immediately wanting to jump right on to the next. But I need to take more time and appreciate what we have, which is this HUGE, wonderful community! Itโs so special.
One thing I might want to explore leaning into more is sharing more behind-the-scenes video content with you all. When Iโm home, the cooking is great, but when I travel, Iโve noticed many requests for day-in-the-life style videos, so that could be really fun! It is very out of my comfort zone and something I need to work really hard at making myself do, but I kind of love the idea!
Anyway, just some random thoughts for a little late-night writing. Itโs nice to simply chit-chat with you all!
Iโm here in New York one more night before I hop over to Austin for Create & Cultivate. Iโm so excited and honored to be speaking on Sunday; I canโt wait! I have a couple of dinners planned in Austin too, so that will be nice!
Iโll be spending one more day in New York, working on a new project that feels so exciting, plus another project thatโs a long time out but that I truly know youโll love!! This project DOES have to do with food. But what we worked on today is totally different and will launch this fall! WhahOOO!!!
Below, Iโm sharing more behind-the-scenes photos of the studio renovation. Itโs really coming along! Other than that, just another fun Sunday Favorites post packed with lots of spring finds! Are you excited for spring? Itโs coming up fast! And yesterday marked the end of daylight savings โ Iโm here for the longer days and more sunshine! It is time!
Have the best Sunday everyone!
questionโฆwhatโs your coffee order/morning drink? I do an Americano with too many extra shots of espresso (Iโm also loving Kion coffee beans). My dad does the same. My mom has hot cacao every morning with raw goat milk, cacao, and honey. Sheโs always drank hot cacao, never coffee. So what is your order?

everything in my cart (beauty)โฆ I mentioned this splurge last week. Dr. Diamondโsย Metacine InstaFacial Collection is becoming a new favorite of mine.ย Iโve been using theย Instafacial Collection Infusion as the final step of skincare over my moisturizer and have noticed a brightening in my skin when I wake up. This is a pricey product, so I will keep updating you the longer I use it! I do want to pick up the full collection to try as well!

You have to read this post: . This sounds like an amazing idea. Yes, this article is about strengthening your marriage, but as someone who is part owner of a business, I love this idea for business partners to help their business and partnership thrive even more.
I know that if I implemented this strategy with my mom, weโd work together so much more seamlessly. Iโm going to figure out a way to do this that will work best for us.

(what I want to be doing. I always keep the idea the in the back of my head)ย

Hi Tieghan! Any plans to do additional candle scents with Snif? Your three scents with them are my favorites! Also, your studio looks STUNNING! Thanks for taking the time to put together Nine Favorite Things each week. I subscribe to several weekly newsletters and yours is my favorite.
Aww, thanks so much for your kind message, Ann! I appreciate you following along! Yes, stay tuned on the Snif front:) Hope you are having a great week! xx
Love the studio updates!! I would love to see a video of a full walkthrough of the space, and then frequent updates via photos would be awesome.
Thanks so much, Maura!! Will definitely try to share more!
I love the tips about making your hotel room more homey! โค๏ธ I too spend a lot of time in my room when I travel, so Iโm excited to implement some of these! I have to ask though, how do you get permission to burn candles in your room? Iโve always been told Iโm not allowed. Also, I loved your outfit for the panel โ such a unique choice! ๐
Thanks so much, Beatrice!! Yes, I totally understand that. I donโt run into any issues. Just please be careful when burning them! xx
Please tell me your tricks to bringing candles along when you travel! Hotels always tell me Iโm not allowed to burn them ๐
Hey Lorainne,
No tricks! I donโt run into any issues. Just please be careful when burning them!
So fun as always!
I have been noticing that you have a lot of very similar recipes on your site โ while not a bad thing in the slightest, it can be VERY overwhelming for us foodies that feel the need to try everything! Have you ever considered simply re-editing and publishing old recipes that you are just adding slightly different touches to instead of publishing a whole new recipe?
No criticisms, just a thought! You are doing a great job ๐
Hey Adelaide,
Thanks so much for your comment:) I appreciate your feedback and so sorry you feel overwhelmed with the recipes! I do try to re-create old recipes, but definitely need to do that more:) Thank you for your suggestions! xx
To echo off of this, to reference the old recipe would be cool too. Only because sometimes I click a recipe that I thought was the old one I liked and go โit wasnโt quite thisโ when I see the recipe. I think it might help to know itโs a new version of a favorite.
Otherwise, great job!
