Hello from home! It was back to normal life this week. A lot of cooking, smiles, snow, freezing temperatures, a few fires to put out, and more! This week has been a real mix of emotions!
I’m heading to the airport today, and I’m pretty excited. I have back-to-back travel and will be away for 10 days, maybe more. Part of me is nervous, but more than anything I feel excited and so happy! This trip is all for work. We have the last couple of book signings, a stop in Miami for the South Beach Food and Wine Festival (I secretly want to plan a day trip to Palm Beach, one of my favorite places to visit), then another trip to New York to tape a fun morning show and a record a podcast too!
I really love the podcasting platform and always get excited when I’m invited to record. It’s such a great way to have a long-form conversation. What podcasts do you love to listen to? What’s your favorite podcast style? I’m genuinely very curious to hear what you all love. Plus, I’m always looking for new podcasts to listen to!
I could not be more excited to head to Toronto! I’ve never been, and this will be my first time coming to Canada for a book signing. I was really nervous the tickets wouldn’t sell, but our Canadian community really came through, and the tickets are just about sold out!! How fun! I can’t wait to meet many of you soon. It’s going to be fun!
I spent some time this week planning out looks for my travel. I love to have my outfits planned before leaving home. We first make a spreadsheet full of looks. Then, I order any new pieces I might need and try everything on (which is not my favorite process, but it’s worth it, and it saves time while traveling!). Then I create a packing list, being sure not to leave anything off, and then pack it all! I have a bag of white and black layering tees that I always bring and some extra tights in case any rip, which they usually do! These I keep in my bag for all trips so if I need them, they are there!
This process/method makes packing so much easier and takes the stress out of getting dressed for events and or meetings. It is a good amount of work though! Also, fun fact? I really dread packing. It might be one of my least favorite things to do! What about you? Love packing or dread it like me?
It’s always worth it though! Packing is not my mom’s favorite either, but she has too many people to pack for, so I understand that!
And the thing I have to say is that it was a weird week. A lot of mixed emotions. We’re in a growth phase with the brand and sometimes it’s so overwhelming and scary. I don’t feel like I know all the right moves to be making. And then we had some fires to put out this week that just felt overwhelming. If you struggle with anxiety like me, deep breathing is really helpful. I’m obviously not a doctor, but I do think my inferred light sun blanket helps me at night. And, of course, legs up the wall! I do both of these every night and they really help to calm my energy!
Ok, I think that’s all of my rambles for today. Enjoy a very springy Favorite’s post, and happy Sunday!
What are you looking forward to?
reading/watching…. Have you watched this yet? It’s beyond crazy.
everything in my cart (low)…The Frankie Shop always has the best coats. I love this wool jacket. I think I would wear it with these cute dark wash jeans from Lioness. And to complete the look, the perfect Faux Leather Bowling Bag
Loving this wool blend sweater for cold days. It’s February, we need sweaters! This is a great knit top to layer with. If you need a full skirt, try this skirt from Free People. This Reformation pointelle top is another great staple.
Zara has the perfect basic soft knit sweater.
Jewelry-wise, I love these tubular pavé triple huggie earrings from Coach.
listening to…. You must listen to this. I already ordered a whole Caraway set.
planning a spring vacation…consider
loving… the
also loving…. Her collection that t was shown for fall/winter 2025 NYFW is the prettiest I’ve seen yet. She knows how women want to dress!
shopping…. This collection, which is now available on Victoria’s Secret, is really chic and cute. This has a mid-range price point that’s more attainable than a traditional designer collection. I love this satin evening coat. Very pretty!
everything in my cart (beauty)…going to order this Le Baume All-In-One Repairing Balm for Extremely Dry Skin and Eczema from Doré. I read about how effective it is for dry skin. It’s also good for winter skin and anyone suffering from dermatitis. Plus, it’s super affordable!
I’ve also read the same about the Redness Solutions Daily Relief Face Cream from Clinique. And then I love the Barrier Butter from Rhode too.
Want to try this Copper Body Brush from HigherDOSE.
Makeup-wise, Bella Hadid created the cutest 5-minute makeup routine using this Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer from Clinique and a Match Stix Matte Skinstick Amber in contour shade with cool undertones matte finish from Fenty Beauty. Seems easy enough to me!
watching….
ordered…CRZ YOGA Butterluxe High Waisted Lounge Legging. Can’t wait to try these out. Apparently, they’re just as good or better than Lululemon, Alo, etc.
everything in my cart (high)…I love this Nando Jacket from Khaite (I told you, the brand has the best jackets!). And these are really cute brushed leather pumps from Prada.
dreaming of going…. I need to make it to Japan. My younger brothers, Red and Malachi, love Tokyo, maybe this is our next trip!
something fun…. I want to try to get into a new hobby together with Asher (I keep nudging her). Adding ballet to my list of things to try!

Aspen – I was so bummed to have to cancel the book tour signing with FWRD/REVOLVE yesterday. We made the call mid-week as we knew a big storm was coming. We made the right call; the highway was closed, and I wouldn’t have been able to get there. As of early this morning, Aspen has received 15″ of snow with a winter weather warning, and more snow expected today.
Toronto – Wednesday, February 19, 6:00 pm at the Crate and Barrel in the Yorkdale Shopping Centre. As mentioned above, I’m so excited to hit Canada, and that ticket sales are going well!
Miami – Sunday, February 23, 1:00 pm at the Crate and Barrel at The Shops at Merrick Park in Coral Gables. There are still plenty of tickets here, so please come and see me! This should be a more intimate signing with more time to chat and browse the store!
Brooklyn – We had to cancel/reschedule this stop. Ticket sales weren’t great, plus we’re working to plan an event here in late March/early April.
Link to Book Tour Page – where tickets can be purchased!

We’ve made a big change to the comments section of the website. I’m sure many of you have noticed. In order to leave a comment on the website, your comment now has to be approved before it’s posted. This is a huge change for us and a change that I was really hoping to not have to make. It makes me so sad to limit who can comment now. After a year+ of hateful, hurtful comments left only to create conflict in the comment section, we needed to make the change.
It seems we had a group of people who really just wanted to bring hate to a space that I want to feel happy and uplifting. These rude, hurtful comments steered many away from reading the site as they felt targeted every time they left a kind comment. This made me so sad. Our comment section has always been a place for us to answer your questions, take in constructive feedback, and listen to your stories!
I want to get back to this! I hope that by managing the comments before they are posted, we can bring back the positivity! This space is only meant to bring happiness into our lives. I’m excited to get it back!

Made your Dad’s Friday Night Spaghetti Dinner for friends on Friday……unbelievably easy and such a great foodie take on pasta!!!! Love your inspo.
Hey Lauri,
Love to hear this! Thank you for making Dad’s Friday Night pasta, it’s a family fave:) Have a wonderful week!!
I can’t wait to get your new cookbook! I’ll probably get a few for gifts as well!
Thanks so much, Sarah! I hope you love it:) Have a great week! xT
I’m so sorry you’ve been experiencing negative comments for so long, but I’m glad you’re taking action! That hate doesn’t deserve to have a platform.
As for your podcast questions- I am a huge fan of lifestyle podcasts, but I think my limit is 75 minutes for an episode. Listening to interviews are fun, but I want them to have a purpose! I have loved hearing you guest star on some!
Hi Maura,
Thank you so much for your kind message! I appreciate you taking the time to read:) I totally agree with a limit on podcasts, makes so much sense. Thanks for sharing your feedback:) Have a great week! xT
Love your posts- the only one I read on Sundays! Everything is so beautifully styled, including you! Love the podcasts and ideas you recommend as well. Also love the pics of the kids, I miss that age of ours. 🩷
Hey Ann,
Thanks so much for your kind message and reading each week! I love that you enjoy the content as much as I do! Happy Monday! xT
Enjoy Toronto Tieghan! It got “so” dumped on with snow this past weekend, that they are still digging out. (So are we…we’re 3 hours away) So much snow and no place to put it all. Check your flight times before heading out! My daughter lives there.
Thanks so much for the heads up, Colleen!! I will definitely be keeping an eye on flights:) Have a great week! xT
Hi Tieghan,
Very brave of you to post those nasty comments a few weeks ago. It shows you are not afraid of criticism. It may be an age thing but I just don’t get how nasty people are when they can hide behind an anonymous comment. I am sure they are very miserable people or they wouldn’t be writing this vitriol.
I am a long time fan but do have some constructive comments. I find it frustrating when some of your links don’t open, ex: Vogue article on Best afternoon tea. For subscribers only.
I am 70 y.o. And wish you had more content that interested my age group but I a
I am probably a minority (loyal one though) . I look forward to every Sunday post and love to hear and see your family. Keep up the good work. I am a big fan.
Hi Dennie,
Thanks so much for reading each week and your comment! If you ever can’t open a link, please let me know so we can get that fixed:) Hope you are off to a great Monday! xT
Folks have repeatedly asked for attention to be paid to the site functionality, and it has not been addressed. The site crashes every single time I open it. Additionally, it would be helpful for the photography to be more clear— brighter and less shadowed. It’s difficult to understand what I’m looking at in many of the photos.
Hi Alison,
Thanks for sharing your feedback regarding the site and photos. Have a great week! xx
You said it Dennie! It is too easy to be hateful online and no of it should ever be taken seriously. Unfortunately, that seems the way things are going right now. All the more reason to be thoughtful and kind.
I’ve been so busy with work and family stuff that I must have missed some of your recent recipes- but I am now looking forward to cooking the 25 Minute Tzatziki Gyro Rice Bowls, the vodka pasta and the slow cooker honey garlic chicken- thank you!!
Glad you’ve changed the comments section, those people had to go! There is no place for rudeness and arrogance any more 🙂
Keep up the great work, and we need you in Sydney for a booking signing, recipe class and general chat on some local podcasts.
Thanks so much for your kind message, Marilla:) Let me know if you give any of the new recipes a try, I hope you love them! Sydney?! Wow, that is so cool, I would love to visit sometime! Happy Monday! xT
Hi Tiegan, I love your blog and cookbooks. We have been in a dinner rut and your recipes have brought joy back to dinner time! You are so generous sharing all your recipes! I have a long list of books to read thanks to one of your favorite things on today’s blog. Thank you and do not listen to the haters!
Aww, thanks so much, Denise! This makes me so happy to know you and your family have been enjoying so many recipes! Thanks for making them! Have the best week! xT
I love your new cookbook Quick and Cozy. I gave it my two granddaughters and knowing both of their boyfriends are avid snowboarders I put a note in about your brother Red. One of them has been following your brother for two years and the other is looking at the X Games videos. 😊 Fun that I could send them the cookbooks with a snowboard interest. Love your cookbooks (I have all of them), love your everyday emails with recipes and love the Nine Favorite Things. You are an inspiration to all and so happy you have a loving family to support you. The pictures of your family make me smile.
Hey Jane,
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment and share this story with me:) Thanks for sending your granddaughters the cookbooks, I hope they love them! Hope you have a wonderful week! xT
