Thanks for joining me for another Nine Favorite Things post.

Welcome to yet another Sunday Favoriteโs post. The very first of March to be exact! Speaking of which, is anyone else excited that March is here? If March is here that means spring is on its way, and for me, that means flowers! I think this year more than ever I am obsessed with flowers. If they were not so expensive, Iโd be buying a new bouquet every week for my deskโฆwhich I may or may not be doing anyway. My excuse is that I use the flowers for photoshoots, so technically, theyโre for โworkโ, rightโฆright.
I love them so much, but man, why do they have to be so pricey? My current favorites are peonies and ranunculus,ย but I also love the oh so simple chamomile! What are your favorites?
Moving along, this past week was filled with a lot of cooking, and with that came some great recipes and also some not so great recipes. I had a few more recipes fails this week than Iโd like, but thatโs what happens when I try to cook too much. Slow and steady wins the race, right? Good news is, I made some fresh spring pasta thatโs easy enough for any night of the week, plus a cake that Iโm so excited to share with you guys.
Question: Since I had a few recipes that did not work this week, Iโd love to know if thereโs anything you guys would be interested in seeing on the blog this month. I always love your suggestions and feedback, so let me know in the comments!
PS. getting requests for A Day In The Life type of post. Is this really something you guys might like to see?!
Coming up this week on HBH we have a fun post involving one of my favorite brands, The Little Market. We also haveย some delicious warming soup, a new take on a cheesy sandwich, that spring pasta, and that cake that I finally perfected. Also keep an eye out for an update on the studio barn. Pretty excited about it. For those of you planning out your weekday meals today, check out my ideas below, itโs number nine on my Favorites list. Hope you all have a great Sunday!

6. How to deal with failureย and use it to your Advantage.
I am such a huge believer in using failure to learn and empower yourself to do better. I loved this story on how to deal with failure and use it to your advantage. One of my favorite quotes from the piece is, โThe universe opens doors you never expected.โ Take chances, fall flat on your face, learn from it, and eventually you will find success. Donโt view failures as a bad thing, view them as an opportunity to learn and grow.
Lovedย this article. You should read it too.
