Nine Favorite Things. Hey everyone! How are you all? Wow, it’s mid-November already, and Thanksgiving is only a week away! This means it is cookbook launch week! After nearly three years of creating this cookbook, I can’t believe this week is here! I am off to New York today to kick off the book tour and start the first week of press. We have some exciting opportunities happening this week. I am so excited!
I start this week bright and early in New York, then head to DC. From DC, it’s on to Atlanta, then home for Thanksgiving!!
I truly couldn’t be more excited about it all, but I’m nervous, too. Putting out another cookbook is nerve-racking. You’d think by the 4th book, I’d have this all down. But I feel more nervous this time around than any other! It’s wacky, but I’m sure everything will be amazing. I’m a lucky girl to get to travel to meet many of you!
This past week was busy, too! I headed to Napa for a special photoshoot and had a quick two-night stay at the lovely Stanly Ranch. If you ever get to Napa, I would highly recommend the resort. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and the grounds are simply stunning!
Our photoshoot went so well, and I’m excited to share what we’re working on soon! I think it will be something you’ll all enjoy! Keep your eyes peeled for clues!
From Napa, I flew into New York late on Wednesday and had some drama with my baggage. Always so much fun, right!? This was a very last-minute trip into the city. I attended the Amazon Holiday Soirée with our Amazon family. It really got me into the holiday spirit!! They had the cutest station set up for me, along with the new cookbooks. I felt very well-loved. It was a great event! Amazon really is making holiday shopping easier than ever! Make sure you check out all my Amazon gift guides!
I flew home on Friday for a quick two nights because I just really needed to be home, even if quickly, ahead of this week. As much as I love all of this travel, I’m still a homebody at heart!
This is such a special time. I feel really lucky to have these opportunities!
That’s all for this week – lots of holiday excitement in the air mixed with so much cookbook excitement. It’s a BIG week!

Your cookbook arrived today, and it’s beautifully done, Tigehan! I love the table of contents with the different categories. Yeah, Seafood!! I had planned to make prawns for dinner tonight, and I quickly found a fun and easy recipe: Sheet Pan Lemon Shrimp with Broccoli. It was delicious, super fast, and full of flavor—deserving of 5 stars! The book is user-friendly, filled with wonderful, inspiring pictures, and well-organized. This evening, I look forward to sitting down with a cup of tea and reading it cover to cover! This is a book that will be used often.
Aww, thanks so much, Kym! I am so glad you are loving the cookbook:) I appreciate your support and kindness! Have the best weekend! xT
Great post, as always.
Just received your new book! As my daughter would say, it’s absolutely banging! So many recipes I want to try, I’m not even sure how to choose which one first! Well done Teighan and your team, thank you for a fabulous fourth book for my HBH collection. 😊.
Have a terrific launch week! Xx
