Nine Favorite Things: We’ve had a lot happening. It’s all so exciting, and when I have 5 seconds to sit and think about it, look back through photos, and reflect, I’m able to really see how far things have come. In some areas, we’re making things that I’ve always dreamed of into reality. There have been so many big strides.
At other times, I still have SO MUCH that I know I want to bring to the table. I can feel frustrated with how long the road can seem to really get things done, but for the most part, I’m excited. We are preparing for a big fall and holiday season with the launch of the fourth cookbook, Quick and Cozy, and a handful of small (fun) product launches that I love so much.
I spent a few days back in New York this week. I know, there’s been a lot of trips to New York, but last week’s trip was very last minute. That said, I don’t mind. Travel gives me a lot of energy and new ideas.
This week’s trip was one of my favorites to date. I was there for a new campaign shoot that we’re launching in September. And YOU GUYS, I have never been so excited to share a campaign with you. It is so good, and I am so happy with how things turned out. I can’t say anything more, but something truly awesome is launching in just a few weeks. Keep your eyes peeled for this one.
In addition to an incredible day on set, the weather in New York was perfect. It was a good 80 degrees with low humidity and small signs of the change of season approaching. I loved every minute of it. It’s such a great time of year! I’m hoping you’re enjoying this time, too!
So much more to share in the coming weeks, the biggest being our new cookbook this November. I know it’s not even August, but November will be here so soon!
On the opposite side of the country, my family spent a couple of days in Aspen this week. They took Oslo to the Snowmass Rodeo. How fun is that! I love that people are realizing that the rodeo is such a fun family activity for summertime. They stayed at the Limelight Snowmass (great for kids), which has a shuttle down to the rodeo. There’s one more rodeo left this summer for anyone who will be in the area!
I think that’s really all my updates. I’m excited about the recipes I’ll be sharing this month and next month too! They’re very back-to-school focused and so delicious! My favorite time of year to cook and bake is almost here.
Have the best Sunday!

loving…the new Éterne lounge socks. I’ve been wearing these at night and they are the coziest. I adore a cozy sock. Also, love the brands Long Sleeve Baby Tee and Drawstring Short. My favorite. The material is so soft you guys. Éterne certainly knows how to make the best lounge pieces.
trying…Cocofloss Woven Dental Floss. I just read all about this dental floss. I’m very curious to see if it just might get me into a better flossing routine. It’s either this or the water flosser, going to try both and see what I love more.
everything in my cart (low)…these Levis vintage overalls will be cute over sweaters this fall.
and now, all my latest Zara finds. Love this cozy 100% wool basic short sleeve top, smooth knit cardigan, and cable knit top. This is a great leather jacket and leather short skirt. Also loving this belted mini skirt with a matching fitted blazer – cute.
and for Zara shoes, these patent leather heeled shoes and these mules – with the cutest bow detailing, are both in my cart.
listening to…I can’t keep up with the podcasts these days! Not enough time to listen, but I loved this recent episode with Natasha Oakley on . I also found this podcast with Paul Saladino MD very interesting on . I love that he drinks raw goat milk (we do too)!
dreaming of going to…. What a cute town. The Babel hotel looks charming and cute, and the restaurants sound delish.
loving…the . Is anyone else excited for fall decor? I can’t wait. Pottery Barn has already launched Thanksgiving. OMG. Let’s celebrate Halloween first!
shopping…the . It’s almost cozy time. Love all Eberjey PJ Sets.
gifting…bag charms. These are so cute and would be fun gifts for friends or, in a few months, stocking stuffers!
everything in my cart (beauty)…the OPI ProSpa + their gel colors – bubble bath and love is in the bare. One coat of each is the perfect nude nail.
Ordering the Chanel . I’m in desperate need of moisture. My skin is so dry when I’m home on Colorado. And I just ordered the iS CLINICAL . I need a neck firming cream because I very much neglect my neck when it comes to skincare, yet the neck is just as important as the face!
As for hair care, I want to try the RÔZ Foundation Mask. I keep seeing this brand everywhere!
And lastly, literally everything I added to my cart from the Shopbop beauty sale.
watching…. I haven’t watched the newest episodes, but I’m excited to! Have you watched yet? Also, . This I did watch and it’s cute! Vogue takes you through Lilly Collins prep for the premiere.
more Emily in Paris news because it’s everywhere… and . Ok, and wow, the chic sets!
reading… Ah, my space heater, for sure. Better yet, I love the sauna blanket the most. And I also second puff pastry. And the mint roller too.
everything in my cart (high)…love this very chic Acne Studios .
following…Emese Gormley. Watch her stories for the best of the best beauty (and honestly, fashion too) products to know about.
curious to know…what’s your favorite brownie recipe (this is my GO TO)? Actually, what’s your favorite “back to school” bake sale recipe? These would be fun to make!

The Pumpkin Smash Candle

You guys! As mentioned above, we have had a lot to share. This week we relaunched the HBH x Snif original scent, Pumpkin Smash!
This relaunch comes in a new fluted vessel that I adore. It also now comes in 3 sizes—small, medium, and the big four-wick! It’s the prettiest and brings a whole new life to our already-loved candle.
With pumpkin spice, cinnamon stick, brûléed orange, salted maple, roasted chocolate, and a dash of whiskey, it’s the perfect blend of sweet and spicy!
I know we are just entering pumpkin season, but this candle sells out every single season. Order a few now, and by the end of September, you’ll be stocked up and ready for pumpkin season.

Home Chef – 2024

In addition to launching Pumpkin Smash, we also launched our second collaboration with Home Chef. I’m even more excited about this year’s recipes than last year. This year, we have a handful of recipes that were so LOVED from last year that we brought them back. Of course, we also have many new recipes that I’m so excited for you to try. I can’t wait to share these with you over the next six weeks!!
This week’s recipes are the Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Pizza and Coconut Lime Fried Shrimp.

Can you tell us where you got that cable knit fisherman’s cardigan in the upstate photos? I would like to check that one out.
Hey Lisa,
Here is something similar!

Thanks for reading today! Happy Sunday! xT
The behind the scenes of the photos look stunning! Can’t wait to see the final results. When is your baking video with Blake dropping? Looking forward to that!
Thanks so much, Dana!! It was a great time! Sorry, I’m not sure when the video is coming, maybe in a few weeks! Have an awesome week! xT
have you ever had your colors done? when i got mine, the consultant said that yellows and greens were the most important to stick to, because the wrong ones can look very bad! it would probably be good for your stylist to know, so she doesn’t put you in colors that don’t suit you! those are some bold greeny yellows in those dresses!
Hey Katie,
Thanks so much for sharing your feedback! I’ve never had my colors done, but great idea:) Have a wonderful week! xT
Continue to be brave and strong and remember that you can’t be all things to everyone. So take care of you. My favorite season of all is autumn.
Thank you so very much:) Have a wonderful week! xT
So happy for you and your new candle launch. I’m gonna guess peach scent. I have the pumpkin smash and love it, so I know the next one will be great.
Just curious when you’ll be posting the special video of you and Blake Lively? You mentioned a few times in your stories that it was coming soon! Can’t wait to see it.
Hey Hannah,
Thanks so much for reading and your kind message:) Love the guess of a peach scent, what a great idea! I’m honestly not sure when the video will be posted, maybe in a few weeks! Have a great Sunday! xT
HAPPY SUNDAY, TIEGHAN! I’m SO looking forward to Autumn and my Pumpkin Smash candle is THE SIGNAL in my home that Fall is here! I splurged this year and got “the big one” – LOL. I’ll start burning it and fall decorating on Sept 1st. I’m interested in your view ventures and will be on the blog to keep up with ya. (I’m baking those Coconut Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies today.) Have a great week!
Hey Kerita,
Thanks so much for reading today!! Yay!! So glad to hear you treated yourself to the big candle this year, I think it’s worth it:) Hope you are having a great Sunday! Let me know how the cookies turn out:) xT
Those doggone Coconut Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are EXQUISITE! Browning the salted butter elevates the flavors and balances the sweet perfectly. Hubs approved…and he’s not a “sweets” guy. I halved the recipe exactly, and they baked up wonderfully!
Disappointed to see the recommendation of misinformation and straight up bad science with Saladino. He is vehemently anti-plants, anti-fluoride, does not believe that LDL cholesterol is bad for you, etc. I’m not even going to touch the anti-pasterization beliefs but seriously, believe in science, not weird cult-like instagram doctors with abs but with little to no science behind their claims.
Hi Tieghan. You asked about favorite brownie recipes…well I’ll tell ya…for about 5 years my oldest daughter and I were on a kick to find the ultimate brownie recipe. We tried soooo many and ultimately we agreed that the King Arthur Flour Brownie recipe is hands down the best. In our humble opinion of course. Have a great week.
Hey Tiffany,
Ohhh yum, thanks so much for sharing your favorite brownie, sounds like you did the leg work too! I appreciate you reading today:) Happy Sunday! xT
Who are these people in the pictures with you? Inquiring minds want to know!
How is the renovation going? I thought you said you would be sharing updates and progress pics.
Hi Tieghan, so good to see you enjoy yourself and had a great week.
I was a bit disappointed you did not answer my comment last week (but I guess busy bee :-))
May I take once more the opportunity to raise the question regarding sustainability and meatless Monday? I saw that the recipe you posted for Monday was a Mongolian beef. I would greatly appreciate some feedback where I can find your meatless Monday / approach on sustainability section.
Also, I note in your NFT you post a lot of links, do you also take into consideration sustainability aspects when buying clothes or skincare? Would love to hear some of your thoughts.
Have another great week.
Hi Tieghan, it’s best to use both a water flosser AND dental floss. A water flosser isn’t a substitute for regular floss. You will love the water flosser though! I’ve been using one for years. And I also use Boka floss (plus their toothpaste).
You mentioned having OPI cuticle oil in your cart. Good stuff – I use that too and really like it. You might also like Zum body balm. It’s wonderful for cuticles.
Have a great Sunday!
Hey Melanie,
Thanks so much for reading today and sharing your feedback on the flossers! I actually had no idea that you need to use both, I will have to read more on that! Good to know you enjoy the cuticle oil:) Hope you are off to a great Sunday! xT
Happy Sunday, Tieghan, Gerard fam, and HBH team! Thank you so much for another wonderful NFT. I’m telling you Tieghan, you seem so in your element in NYC. I know you are a Midwest girl at heart, but I sure love seeing your NYC shots. I’m so glad you have so many meetings there so you can keep sharing those gorgeous photos! I am so with you on Spooky Season and also the black cherry mani pedi. I am getting one before we leave for vacation next week (Japan and Thailand!). I also ordered two of your candles from Snif, and am so excited to smell the sweet fall scent of Pumpkin Smash! Have a wonderful week!
Hey Jen,
Happy Sunday:) Thanks for reading and noticing how much I love being in NYC, I really do enjoy myself each time I am there! Wow, enjoy your trip to Thailand and Japan, I am sure that will be so awesome! Thanks for your support with the candles, I hope you absolutely love them! xT
So nice to see you wearing some color for a change! Can’t wait to see the candle photos, they look so extravagant! Will they be featured in any sort of magazine? Or just the Snif insta
Thanks so much, Jane:) There are no plans for the candles to be featured in a magazine, we use the photos to promote the candles on the website and social media. Happy Sunday! xT
I can’t wait to hear about the new product launches you’re planning! I already have the new cookbook on pre-order!
I would caution you against drinking any kind of raw milk and encouraging your followers to do so. Pasteurization is one of our most important scientific breakthroughs because so many people died from raw dairy products. I would also say that anyone who doesn’t follow basic science like that podcast you mentioned may also not follow real science on other topics. I grew up on a farm, everyone pasteurized their milk for a reason. Just don’t want you or your family to get sick! Especially Oslo! Young kids have a less robust immune system. Just sharing, maybe you weren’t aware! Hope your week is great!
I’ve been drinking raw milk, cream, and cheese for years now and will never go back!
And you can also get very ill or die from it. These are facts, even if your own anecdotal evidence suggests otherwise. Every food scientist, biologist, or expert in the matter would advise against it. You do you, but when you have millions of subscribers, it’s irresponsible to promote it. Women can miscarry. It’s absolutely a serious issue.
