I hope everyone had the best Fourth of July! Now that the Fourth has passed, talk of apples and pumpkin spice will be heard before we know it! I’m not even close to being ready for that. I need to soak up these warm summer days (and nights) while we have them!
This week was busy, to say the least. I started my week in New York – the best way to kick off a week! I had a meeting I was in town for, plus a full day of Amazon meetings. Then it was off to an Amazon Live where I discussed my Prime Day favorites and, of course, the new Quick and Cozy cookbook!
In case you missed it, I shared last Sunday that we have a new cookbook coming out on November 19th! Our fourth book focuses on my best-ever quick and cozy recipes. This is by far my favorite cookbook yet. I poured every ounce of myself into creating the best book, and I can’t wait to share it with you all soon!
Your support this last week has been the most amazing. I’m in awe of how sweet and supportive you’ve all been. I LOVE hearing your stories and learning more about you and your families. It’s crazy and so fun to see SO MANY of you preordering the book. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Your support means so much!!
The announcement set my week off on the best foot. I was and am feeling the happiest. I had two busy, perfect days in New York with the BEST summertime weather and the yummiest dinner at Torrisi with a friend. Then, I returned home to an almost completely cleared-out studio and a home full of all my surfaces, props, and food for cooking. More details on this are below.
And finally, my brother is getting married on Saturday (yesterday, by the time you read this), so today’s post will be a little shorter. So much is happening here right now! I’ll be sure to fill you in with more detail next week!
For now, I hope you guys have a great Sunday in July!

everything in my cart (beauty)…for summer eyes, I think the makeup by Mario Master Mattes Eyeshadow Palette is perfection with its warm tones. If you want a killer smoky eye, try Patrick Ta Major Dimension III Matte Eyeshadow Palette. For something a little sweeter, Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Luxury Eyeshadow Palette. All are so pretty with most eye colors!
I’ve heard incredible things about the Barefaced brand. Curious to try their Liquid Gold vitamin C serum.

Home/studio renovation update! We’re starting the renovations on the studio TOMORROW. This meant we needed to move everything out of the studio and into my much tinnier home. We’re starting with the studio renovation. Once that’s complete, we’ll start my house, and I will move over to the studio.
The task of moving everything from one building to another was beyond overwhelming. We reached out to a professional organizer I found on Instagram, Meg Cocchiaro, founder of Organized by Meg. Meg lives in Denver and swooped in like an angel to save the day.
This woman is incredible! In two days, she moved almost everything from the studio into my house and organized a good chunk of it too. Incredibly, my house was put back together by the time I returned home from New York. I really didn’t think it was possible to move all she did, but we have been so impressed!! She’s the best of the best!
She plans to come next week to finish up the first half of this project. I’m so grateful for her; she really made this move so much easier, cleaner, and less stressful. Superhuman, you all—she is GOOD!
As the renovations progress, I’ll share some behind-the-scenes photos and news. I’m excited to get into the details of this next big project; there are so many fun things to come!

(There is no one who is there for me more than this guy. I got out of the car at DIA and I just thought “wow he’s the best, I love him so much)

(always so good to be back in New York)

(Fouquet’s makes every arrival special)

(exciting things are in the works)

Especially looking forward to a special day with Asher! I need to plan it, but it’s going to be fun. Maybe massages, shopping, and dinner outside somwhere cute! Any local Cleveland restaurants you recommend?

Did you create any of the food or decor for the wedding?
Hey Cami,
I made one cake, but that’s it:) It was kind of nice to just enjoy the day! Thanks for reading! xT
Which one of the cakes did you make?
I love and have all your cookbooks! I can’t wait for the next one!! Just a reminder to shout out Independent bookstores and not just Amazon. I work at an independent bookstore and always sell your cookbooks. I personally always recommend your cookbook and would love if you would shout out some independent bookstores that you shop at!
Hey Kendra,
Thanks so much for reading and your kind message:) Yes, thank you for the reminder about smaller bookstores! I appreciate you recommending the books to others! Have the best week! xT
Your dad is so cute – he reminds me a little of the actor Sam Elliott. Also, all those recipes look great. I don’t know which to try first.
Thanks so much, Annie!! My dad is the best:) Let me know if you give any of the recipes a try! Happy Monday! xT
What are your ultimate goals for the reno? What all is upstairs at the studio? Would love some before and after pics!
Hey Liz,
Thanks so much for reading! The upstairs of the studio is a loft space:) I really just want to update both spaces with my style and make the kitchen a bit more functional. I will definitely share pics!! Happy Monday! xT
I hope the amazon teaser is a tv series!!! Would love to watch that.
Thanks so much, Evangeline:) Stay tuned! Happy Monday! xT
Primally Pure deodorant is the BEST! The only natural one that actually works from all that I’ve tried! Absolutely love this brand.
Hey Jen,
Thanks so much for your feedback on the Primally Pure:) Love to hear that you have been enjoying it! xT
Mitchell’s Ice Cream in (or just outside?) Cleveland is thee BEST ice cream we’ve ever had! Can’t to wait to visit again & will definitely go there!
Soooo good!
Hey Robin,
Of course, we LOVE Mitchell’s:) Thanks so much for reading! Have a great week! xT
Cleveland westside patio dining…try Sarita’s in Lakewood.
Thanks for the recommendation, Lynn!! I’ll have to check it out! Happy Sunday! xT
Happy Sunday, Tieghan! That Lemon Basil Zucchini Pasta Alfredo pic just grabbed me today! Will definitely make it this week! Oh, side note…we’re going to Miami soon and are considering staying at the Faena because of your post a while ago!
Hey Kerita,
Thanks for reading today! I hope you love the pasta, let me know how it turns out for you:) Enjoy your time in Miami, I bet Faena will be awesome! Happy Sunday! xT
Hopefully you’ll share some wedding pics next week! Or photos of your look at the very least! I know how much you love high fashion while traveling, it must have been so nice to have a reason to get dressed up while at home! Have you shared any pics of the getting ready process yet!? I love the peek into hair and makeup that you usually share! Congrats to you brother and new sister!
Hi Jane,
Thanks so much! Yes, I will definitely share some photos next week, we had a great time and I’m so happy for the both of them! Hope you are having a great Sunday! xT
Be careful whom you are nice to. Tieghan. This was obviously a trap. Maybe think about moderating your comments.
Jane and her alter Remi need to return to their stinking subterranean space. You are breaking your own rules by brigading here, remember?
There are photos are her with the wedding party on Instagram. She wore a long red dress, with a black leather motorcycle jacket, no make -up and didn’t do her hair. It was a completely different look than when she does her high fashion while traveling. I was surprised, but Colorado is pretty casual. Plus, I don’t think they have make up artists, or hair stylists in the Colorado mountains? All of her siblings were in the wedding and they looked lovely.
Oh I must have missed the photos on her stories! Hopefully she shares in the blog next week!
No hair or makeup for the bride or bridesmaid either?! I didn’t realize T and fam were that remote! I’m sure it was a lovely simple wedding! All the luxury glitz and glam definitely isn’t necessary to have a beautiful wedding!
Jane, nobody’s buying it. Do you realize when you run back to the hive to share your captures of your harassing posts, the whole world can see and smell you from here? Are you that arrogant that you can’t refrain from publicly bragging about how you think you are so brilliant and subtle – with pictures outing yourself?
You need therapy.
She did the same ridiculous thing on last week’s NFT under the fake name “Danielle”. Exact same tone, fake compliments, disingenuous enthusiasm, rampant assumptions, invasive questions and over-the-top ridiculous overuse of bogus enthusiasm. She got shredded then too, and had the nerve to write a long “who me?!” response feigning ignorance. It’s so obvious it’s laughable.
She does need therapy, because as they say, the ultimate definition of insanity is making the same stupid mistake over and over again and expecting a different result.
Yet here she is.
Again.
So many exciting things happening! Curious where y’all had your brother’s rehearsal dinner? Thanks!
Oh and maybe in next week’s post you could share all of the vendors the bride and groom used? My friend’s daughter is getting married in the area so I would love some insider tips!!! Thanks!
Sure, I can definitely try do that! xx
Hey Melissa,
Yes, lots of exciting things right now:) The rehearsal dinner was at Enza’s in Silverthorne, they did an awesome job! Happy Sunday! xT
I recommend the restaurant Town Hall in Cleveland! It is near the West Side Market. 🙂
Hi Katie,
My husband and I have eaten there and it is delicious! The food is always so fresh and flavorful.
Bobbi Jo
Hey Katie,
Thanks a lot for the recommendation, I’ll add that to my list! Happy Sunday! xT
Do you ever go to Chagrin Falls when visiting in Cleveland? I love it there! There’s nice restaurants with river views!
Congratulations on your new cook book!
Chagrin falls is really lovely, especially this time of year
Hi Lucinda,
Thanks for reading today! I typically don’t venture over to the eastside when I am home, but the river views sound great, thanks for the recommendation! Have the best Sunday! xT
Happy July-big things are happening & I could not be happier for you! Thanks for all you do.
Hi Dale,
Thanks so much for your kind message and following along:) Hope you are off to a great Sunday! xT
