Happy June, everyone! Iโm so excited for the month ahead. After a very long spring and a lot of cooking, photographing, and editing over the last two months, Iโm looking forward to getting organized, cleaning my house, and some fun travel, too! Iโm ready to feel put back together after a crazy two months. And Iโm so ready for the weather to warm up and the green grass to grow โ itโs time!
How about you all? Are you looking forward to anything this month? Will you be traveling this summer? Whatโs happening? We need to catch up!
Iโm heading to Chicago this week for a quick photo shoot and then back home. Hopefully, I can start getting organized and put things back together before heading off on another trip later in the month.
And speaking of summer plans, I know some of you have been asking whatโs happening with our renovations? Everything is moving forward! But we do have a slight change of plans in our building schedule. Basically, we just flipped-flopped a few things. Iโll now be staying put in my house for the summer while they start work on the studio in July. Once they finish the studio, theyโll start my house. Then, Iโll bounce over to the studio to live and work until they get my house completed. Itโs going to be over a year of renovations, so Iโm sure weโre in for a fun ride! But Iโm beyond excited to share details along the way and for everything to be completed. Itโs going to be worth the wait!

Last one, I want to order multples of this H&M hoodie. I live in in hoodies and this one is perfect.

Wether you eat meat or not, this episode has a lot of information regarding our food sources. Iโve also been a fan of For of Nature meats, I buy their ground beef at Whole Foods.

I think Zara Home is such a hidden gem in the home space. I know everyone goes to Zara for their clothes, but I think Zara Home is their secret gem.
Love these cotton towels with wide strip. They would be cute in a bathroom with theseย seagrass baskets, and maybe this pretty striped ceramic vase too! All such cozy home pieces.
For the kitchen, I love these dotted glass tumblers and hammered glass pitcher. Oh, and this terracotta tableware is pretty for summer entertaining. Iโd style it with this rattan tray. These garden kitchen towels are cute too!

Best of luck with your renovation! We spent 2023 in the dust and noise of a renovation and so wish you peace during what will be a busy and fraught time (we struggled with the constant decision making โ so much pressure!). Enjoy your travels!

Typical. We were supposed to start construction on a new garage in March, but have been fighting with the city about plans, permits, etc. Itโs now June and still waiting to be approved.
