Hi from New York! I took a very quick trip into the city this week, and while I really didn’t have time for this trip, I’m so glad I made the effort to keep my schedule as planned. Try to keep to your commitments, I promise you it will pay off in the end. No one wants the reputation of the girl that always cancels.

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. I needed a break from the kitchen and am now excited to be back cranking out recipes, creating photos, and getting back into my cooking groove.

And the city really was so great! I ended up flying in on Monday night. Got all settled in and quickly went to bed. Then, on Tuesday, I filmed something really fun that I can’t wait for you all to see. It will be out in a couple of days, so not too long of a wait. I spent the rest of the day in a meeting, then headed to dinner with a friend. I was finally able to try Torrisi, and the restaurant lives up to all the hype. We decided to order and share. The cucumber salad was shockingly delicious, we did the tortellini and penne pasta, then roasted chicken. I have to mention the bread on the table, wow, so good! With that yummy salted butter, we definitely filled up on bread. But everything was good!

Wednesday was a busy work day. I met with our book team and went over multiple things, finalized some visuals for upcoming projects, and then had a late facial with Cynthia Rivas, whom I try to see any time I’m here. She’s truly the best of the best. I also had a yummy dinner at Sartiano’s in Soho.

On Thursday morning, I was up way early for a Page Six interview (it was live, so I will try to find a clip for you all!). Found it! I then headed to a Sniff meeting for an upcoming product launch. And now I’m heading to the airport, excited to get into my cozy bed tonight!

Does anyone want to take a guess at our next Snif collaboration product? It will be out in September! I’m so excited!

In other news, my family, or half of my family, is in Miami soaking in some sunshine!

And that’s pretty much everything I have for today! Enjoy today’s new links. Is there anything you’re loving this week or even this month? Let me know!

1. Things i’m loving, wanting, and excited to try.

loving…everything butter yellow. Especially butter yellow dresses and bags. So cute.

also related to the above…butter nails. Again, cute and fun for both spring and summer.

wanting…a hidden spice cabinet, well, kind of. I have too many spices for something like this, so I probably need a FULL cabinet. But I love the idea for anyone who cooks daily with spices (which should be everyone)!

burning…the new Boy Smells farm to candle scents. I ordered all three, the bramble (I think this will be my favorite with all the fruity scents). Crush (and I vote Crush will be my 2nd fav). And then there’s Sweet Pits, I bet the apricot is great. Feedback to come on those! I also ordered the Trudon Cyrnos candle. I’m excited to burn them all!

everything in my cart (low)…a pretty square neck slip dress. This cute as-can-be halter top (of course, I love the yellow). And mini cylinder duffle bag. For some jewels, these snail shell earrings are cute.

traveling…onefinestay Luxury Villas & Vacation Rentals. With locations all over the world, this is the ultimate website to help you find your perfect hotel or home rental. I’m longing to head to the Caribbean.

listening to…THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY. When T-Swift drops a new album, we ALL listen. I spent Friday cooking with this on repeat. Favorite songs, Florida!!! and The Tortured Poets Department. What do you think? What’s your favorite song? Do you love the album?

dreaming of going…The Best Hotels in Athens, From Renovated Historic Villas to Dreamy Bohemian Stays. Set your summer vacation plans…time for Greece.

also dreaming of going to…Riviera Maya. Maroma and Etéreo both look beautiful, and both are located in Riviera Maya. These could be amazing possibilities for the next time the family wants to head to Mexico.

loving…We Thought We’d Seen It All With Hidden Kitchen Storage, Then We Spotted This Sneaky Backsplash.

ordering…Women’s Everyday Compression Socks. I’ve never tried any compression socks, but with the amount time of time I spend on my feet, these could be a huge game changer. I’ve heard awesome things!

wanting…the tabi split-toe glossed-leather loafers. These are controversial, and at first, I didn’t like them, but I don’t know. The more I see them, the more I love them. Thoughts?

everything in my cart (beauty)…the Dr. Dennis Gross Exfoliating Body Treatment Peel. I have the face peel, but need to try the body treatment for upcoming summer days. Time to prep the skin! I’m loving the Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick. I was given this by a makeup artist, and it’s so pretty! Wanting the Dior Rosy Glow Blush and Gucci Matte Beauty Powder (I have the Gucci mascara and love it) .

For our nails, I’m curious to try this hand & nail serum. It comes highly recommended!

Also, excited for Charlotte Tilbury’s New Fragrances that launches April 30th.

shopping…Zara Home for great spring/summer home decor.

wanting…these super pretty hand-painted bowls from McGee & Co.

listening to…Solo Episode: Marianna’s 5 Work-In-Progress Daily Habits, Finding Accountability in Routines, and Incorporating Balance. Perfect Sunday listen to motivate the week ahead.

eating at…The New Restaurants in New York City This Spring. It can be tricky to know the best restaurants to try in the city, but I loved this detailed guide to a few new ones.

everything in my cart (high)…love this Spinelli Kilcollin linked rings with black diamonds. I need to up my jewelry game.

reading…50 Life Lessons From Victoria Beckham’s Forgotten Fashion Manual. The style icon and Spice Girl turned 50 this week!

shopping…the best Mother’s Day gifts. Shared some last week and now, more this week!

5. What Makes You Happy?

My family is spending some time in Florida this month during our “mud season” here in Colorado. Asher and I talk a lot while they travel to stay in touch. I love our relationship. She had been telling me about a bag she was in love with for weeks. When she said that she finally got my Mom to go shopping with her this past week, I immediately knew I wanted to call the store and buy the bag for Asher. I love a good surprise!

I’ve decided that gift-giving is my love language. Just like presenting a meal that’s loved and appreciated, finding a gift that I know someone will love is another way to show I care. I had my mom take videos and photos. I wasn’t even with them for the outing, but it made my week, and Asher told me she felt so special. The store really did the cutest job of presenting the bag. I was so impressed, and Asher was so excited!

What’s something that makes you happiest? Or even something that made you happy just this week? It can be anything, big or small!!

  1. Loving the NYC looks… the Torrisi dinner look might be my favorite look you’ve ever shown. I can’t wait for the next Snif collab. We JUST finished the 50oz. Pumpkin Smash we’ve been burning since the fall!

    1. Hey Kristie,
Thanks so much:) Ahh the dinner at Torrisi was amazing! So glad you enjoyed the Pumpkin Smash candle, it’s my fave:) Have a great week! xT

  2. I like this blog and the content creator. But it seems to be a magnet for jealous kuntz with literally nothing going for them. Like, she’s a lightning rod for absolute idiots.

Annoying, but she can definitely profit from it. 😉

  3. You live on your parents’ property. Why not stay in their home during the renovation? It would be more efficient to be close by to keep tabs on the renovation.
Why aren’t you searching for a home in Florida instead of your family doing it for you?

    1. Hi Claire,
Thanks for reading today:) My family lives in that home, so for me to work out of there while the renovations were happening would be totally unrealistic. My parents are spending time vacationing in Florida right now, so they are scoping out some locations and then I will make the final decision. Have a great Sunday! xT

      1. How is it more realistic to move across the country? Sounds way more complicated than staying in Colorado. You could rent locally in Colorado.

        1. She wants a change of pace and a tropical location. During the renovation is a perfect time to do this.

  4. Hey Tieghan,
How exciting that you will be living in Miami for a while! Have your family try Macchialina on 8th and Alton. They just remodeled and the place looks fabulous! It’s one of Miami’s top rated restaurants and the locals ( and tourists ) love it! You will definitely want to try it when you are in town. Their creamy polenta and tiramisu are delicious. Also, the wine list is highly acclaimed! You’ll thank me later!

    1. Hey Becki,
Happy Sunday! Thanks, I’m pretty excited about it! I will tell the fam to check out Macchialina, thanks a lot for the recommendation! Hope you have a great week! xT

  5. That is so sweet buying a bag for your sister! She has good taste just like you! So many great links today! I love the pink hose. You look absolutely gorgeous in that pic of you with your Snif family! Thanks for all the great recipes and for sharing your life with us!

What made me happy this week; My puppy didn’t have one accident! Yippee! I think we can call it. Jack is potty trained aka housebroke. 🙂

    1. Hey Sara,
Thanks for reading today!! I know Asher is going to love the bag, so it makes me so happy to do something like that for her:) Glad you enjoyed the links today and pics:) Nice work with your puppy, I’m sure that is a difficult task, so I bet it’s a relief! Have a great week! xT

  6. Hi Teighan….it’s Holly from Vail and just checking that your dad got my Get well Card…..it was so fun to make….and my guess on the new Sniff candle collaboration is something to do with apples for September is a great month to go apple picking…you are so busy…but you’re having so much fun!!!!..it is gorgeous here today..

    1. Hi Holly,
How nice of you to send a card, I will have to ask them as they have been out of town for a few weeks now! Love the apple guess for the Snif candle:) I hope you have a great Sunday! xT

  7. Love all your outfits from your NYC trip! Love Asher’s dark hair, gorgeous! Love how happy you are! Great NFT post today!

  8. Happy Sunday, Tieghan! So you’re spending the whole reno in Miami?! How fun! People doing THAT [living somewhere different for a little while] makes me happy! I keep looking for somewhere to do it for a month or so. Can’t decide on a location though. I hope they find somewhere cool for you to live temporarily!

The split toe loafer, though? Hard pass – LOL! I have questions – what toes go where? How soft is that leather? Does it look like I have hooves? That looks SO uncomfortable – LOL!

    1. Hey Kerita,
Thanks for reading today! Yes, I think spending time in Miami is going to be so refreshing for me! I’ll keep you posted on the process:) Lol I know the loafers are kind of interesting…would be fun to try them on! Have a great Sunday! xT

  9. Hi Tieghan! I’m an OG follower from way back so I just have to ask out of curiosity – are you helping with the food for your brother’s wedding, like you did for Brendan’s? It was fun following along with that process, so I’m hoping you are!

    1. Hey Alyssa,
Thanks for following along for so long! I just did the cakes for Brendan’s wedding:) I don’t plan to make any of the food for this one, it’s nice to just enjoy the day and have someone else take care of that. I’ll definitely share some of the wedding day fun. Have a great week! xx

  10. I love the photos of Asher and Oslo. As one of your readers, I feel like we get to watch them grow up in the photos you share. I love how close your family is and how you support each other in your ventures. Ignore the keyboard critics and focus on those of us who love reading Nine Favorite Things.

    1. Hey Cindy,
Thanks so much for reading today! Happy to share the photos of Asher and Oslo:) They are both growing up so fast, it’s wild! I feel so grateful to have the family that I have, we are very blessed to be so supportive of one another. Have a great week! xT

  11. Don’t you want to be in Miami having a say on where you’ll be living for the next few months? Or will the entire family be locating so your parents have most of the decision making power? Super curious because the control freak in me could never sign a lease sight unseen!

    1. Hey Michelle,
Happy Sunday, thanks for reading today! My parents are just scoping things out, I will be going down to make the final decision! xT

  12. Tieghan didn’t you just cancel a photo shoot middwway through in nyc the other week lol? And the messaging was “follow your gut”? Hahah being the girl who cancels can also be the girl who follows her instinct when something isn’t right!

    1. Hey Carly,
Thanks for reading today! That is very true, you do need to follow your instincts as well. For NYC, I actually knew I needed to pivot after just one day. I was referring to not backing out on someone you’ve committed to, who is counting on you:) xx

    2. Sounds like insecure projection Carly. You aren’t the main character here. It’s not about you, honey.

        1. These people are irredeemable subhuman filth. “Rude” is the understatement of the decade. But yes, she’s that too.

      1. Exactly, I’m terrible at pronouncing things correctly, too! You would have a field day if you saw things before my mom edits them:)

          1. Look at all the jealous mingles checking in. You can set your watch by it.

Keep being catty, ladies. Tieghan is still taking the world by storm while you are still dwelling in the cesspool.

          2. It’s kind of interesting to see how many people are still putting their energy into harassing Tieghan. (Or, most likely, one or two intrepid tr#ollz with a lot of fake screen names.)

She has clearly succeeded if she’s attracting this level of vitriol from the toothless mouth breathing masses. Having haters means you have already won. And they are so consistent. It’s like they work for you! 😂

Enjoy your success, Tieghan! You have well earned it!

          3. They do work for her! (Sweet justice!) Every time they slither up from the rectal vault of the internet to expel their disrespect, they pay her bills. Bring it, roaches.

            💰💰💰

          4. It’s a field day watching the low income jealous tr%llz coming for her literally every day.

She continues to succeed, and you continue to fail. Your life’s work is to harass her, and you earn nothing off it while she continues to profit off of your obsession.

            See you tomorrow! 🤣

          5. Actually the haters are in the 10’s of thousands and the defenders are Dayad, Mama Jenn and Cretin and their 100 fake screen names. Lmao they use the same exact phrases and writing styles…sadly obvious. Keep puppeteering Tiegy so you can pay for all those fancy vacations while she wastes into oblivion from the anxiety you cause her.

          6. Keep telling yourself that, “Shannon”, you delusional nitwit. Her family is on vacation, and they are not busy posting here. How do I know? I’m not related, and I’m also here telling you you’re an idiot.

The supporters here are not “using the same words and phrases” but the irony is that you and your sock puppets certainly do.

Every damn day it’s either “OMG TyPOs” “mispronunciation” “ED” “what about high altitude?” “why didn’t you try X restaurant” “did you copy this recipe from X (with link to a generic similar recipe that 2.5 million others have also made) bla, bla, bla. Same boring, whining complaints and childish questions every time. It’s not even original. Her “defenders” (in other words, the sensible people who are here to discuss recipes, not stalk and cyber bully the author) number in the millions – at least 5 and a half million to be clear. The responses to your garbage are quite diverse and unique, and the ONLY thing they seem to have in common is they are all sick of your pettiness.

BTW, you aren’t supposed to directly engage here, dear, remember? How quickly you forget your own “rules”. But considering you lack any class or moral fiber, of course you wouldn’t, right?

Get a life, you buffoon. Hating on someone who could buy and sell you ain’t it girl. You’re just big mad because she is enjoying massive success and you are…doing this. Pathetic!

          7. Hey, Shannon! 👋🏻 While I WISH I was a member of the HBH family, I’m not, but I can also confirm that you and your multiple screen names are all useless wastes of space, and not at all welcome here. Yet you keep coming back. Your dedication to boosting engagement for her is noble.

          8. Also not related to HBH, and also wish I was. 😁 Another one of the millions who think these haters are sad, useless, and annoying, and have got to go.

          9. I feel sorry for you. You must have a miserable life if this is how you treat people and what you get off on AJ/Lara/Janet (and all your other equally foul personalities.)

          10. Editing missed the mark. Jen has only one n. Guess you can’t edit your way out of a brown paper bag either, huh? Pot meet kettle.

Anyhoo, while T. is jet-setting all over the place living her best life, you are devoting countless hours of your sad life to posting childish insults in an online hate forum, fueled by jealousy, self-loathing and a grotesque lack of talent of ambition. How embarrassing for you!

          11. Can’t agree Shan. The HBH fans all seem to have really clever, yet distinctly unique ways of making you look bad and pointing out how vile you are. I also seriously doubt her family is commenting on the blog. Get real. 🙄

          12. It’s the “Cretin” and “lmao” that tells me Shannon is about 12 years old. Or maybe 12 is her IQ. Either way, parental controls are needed here.

          13. It’s the self-identifying as a hater that did it for me, like that’s something to be proud of? Also, the “I know you are, but what am I!?” tone.

“The haters use multiple fake screen names and disrupt here constantly.”

Shannon: “No! YOU do that! Cretin! Dayad!”

            So predictable. 🥱

        1. Great attitude, T. Laugh at yourself, and know your mistakes are not fatal. If you pronounce something wrong, so be it. Nobody will die from it. ❤️

Keep being you. Your content is great, and anyone who doesn’t like it is missing out. They are free to go elsewhere.

      2. If by “brown paper bag” you mean your mom’s dried out womb, then it’s a crying shame if you managed to edit yourself out of that. Withdraw have been better if you never emerged.

T’s doing fine, though. You, not so much.

      3. You should take a look at her TikTok. Misspellings are absolutely horrible there- worse than the blog and IG. I used to love her recipes but have now hit unfollow. She is borderline illiterate.

        1. You have nothing better to do than police typos on social media? Yes, I’m sure you were a devoted fan until misspellings cause you to become insulting and “have to unfollow” after a dramatic announcement. Spare us the drama and just go.

        2. Timmy, you do realize smearing other people only makes you look cheap? Try doing something more useful with your life.

        3. And you had to come all the way here to announce that you unfollowed, and complain about spelling mistakes? Do you realize how ridiculous and grandiose that is?
