Hi from New York! I took a very quick trip into the city this week, and while I really didnโ€™t have time for this trip, Iโ€™m so glad I made the effort to keep my schedule as planned. Try to keep to your commitments, I promise you it will pay off in the end. No one wants the reputation of the girl that always cancels.

As always, I thoroughly enjoyed my trip. I needed a break from the kitchen and am now excited to be back cranking out recipes, creating photos, and getting back into my cooking groove.

And the city really was so great! I ended up flying in on Monday night. Got all settled in and quickly went to bed. Then, on Tuesday, I filmed something really fun that I canโ€™t wait for you all to see. It will be out in a couple of days, so not too long of a wait. I spent the rest of the day in a meeting, then headed to dinner with a friend. I was finally able to try Torrisi, and the restaurant lives up to all the hype. We decided to order and share. The cucumber salad was shockingly delicious, we did the tortellini and penne pasta, then roasted chicken. I have to mention the bread on the table, wow, so good! With that yummy salted butter, we definitely filled up on bread. But everything was good!

Wednesday was a busy work day. I met with our book team and went over multiple things, finalized some visuals for upcoming projects, and then had a late facial with Cynthia Rivas, whom I try to see any time Iโ€™m here. Sheโ€™s truly the best of the best. I also had a yummy dinner at Sartianoโ€™s in Soho.

On Thursday morning, I was up way early for a Page Six interview (it was live, so I will try to find a clip for you all!). Found it! I then headed to a Sniff meeting for an upcoming product launch. And now Iโ€™m heading to the airport, excited to get into my cozy bed tonight!

Does anyone want to take a guess at our next Snif collaboration product? It will be out in September! Iโ€™m so excited!

In other news, my family, or half of my family, is in Miami soaking in some sunshine!

And thatโ€™s pretty much everything I have for today! Enjoy todayโ€™s new links. Is there anything youโ€™re loving this week or even this month? Let me know!

1. Things iโ€™m loving, wanting, and excited to try.

lovingโ€ฆeverything butter yellow. Especially butter yellow dresses and bags. So cute.

also related to the aboveโ€ฆbutter nails. Again, cute and fun for both spring and summer.

wantingโ€ฆa hidden spice cabinet, well, kind of. I have too many spices for something like this, so I probably need a FULL cabinet. But I love the idea for anyone who cooks daily with spices (which should be everyone)!

burningโ€ฆthe new Boy Smellsย farm to candle scents. I ordered all three, the bramble (I think this will be my favorite with all the fruity scents). Crush (and I vote Crush will be my 2nd fav). And then thereโ€™s Sweet Pits, I bet the apricot is great. Feedback to come on those! I also ordered the Trudon Cyrnos candle. Iโ€™m excited to burn them all!

everything in my cart (low)โ€ฆa pretty square neck slip dress. This cute as-can-be halter top (of course, I love the yellow). And mini cylinder duffle bag. For some jewels, these snail shell earrings are cute.

also dreaming of going toโ€ฆRiviera Maya. Maroma and Etรฉreo both look beautiful, and both are located in Riviera Maya. These could be amazing possibilities for the next time the family wants to head to Mexico.

lovingโ€ฆWe Thought Weโ€™d Seen It All With Hidden Kitchen Storage, Then We Spotted This Sneaky Backsplash.

orderingโ€ฆWomenโ€™s Everyday Compression Socks. Iโ€™ve never tried any compression socks, but with the amount time of time I spend on my feet, these could be a huge game changer. Iโ€™ve heard awesome things!

wantingโ€ฆtheย tabi split-toe glossed-leather loafers. These are controversial, and at first, I didnโ€™t like them, but I donโ€™t know. The more I see them, the more I love them. Thoughts?

everything in my cart (beauty)โ€ฆtheย Dr. Dennis Gross Exfoliating Body Treatment Peel. I have the face peel, but need to try the body treatment for upcoming summer days. Time to prep the skin! Iโ€™m loving the Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick. I was given this by a makeup artist, and itโ€™s so pretty! Wanting the Dior Rosy Glow Blush and Gucci Matte Beauty Powder (I have the Gucci mascara and love it) .

For our nails, Iโ€™m curious to try this hand & nail serum. It comes highly recommended!

Also, excited for Charlotte Tilburyโ€™s New Fragrances that launches April 30th.

5. What Makes You Happy?

My family is spending some time in Florida this month during our โ€œmud seasonโ€ here in Colorado. Asher and I talk a lot while they travel to stay in touch. I love our relationship. She had been telling me about a bag she was in love with for weeks. When she said that she finally got my Mom to go shopping with her this past week, I immediately knew I wanted to call the store and buy the bag for Asher. I love a good surprise!

Iโ€™ve decided that gift-giving is my love language. Just like presenting a meal thatโ€™s loved and appreciated, finding a gift that I know someone will love is another way to show I care. I had my mom take videos and photos. I wasnโ€™t even with them for the outing, but it made my week, and Asher told me she felt so special. The store really did the cutest job of presenting the bag. I was so impressed, and Asher was so excited!

Whatโ€™s something that makes you happiest? Or even something that made you happy just this week? It can be anything, big or small!!

  1. Please return to the previous print format for recipes, I like to have the photo of the recipe included when printed.
Iโ€™m assuming you changed the format for additional revenue ?

I enjoy making many of your recipes.

  2. OMG, what is going on here? I read this blog pretty much every week. Lots of fun and good links, recipes, style, gift ideas. I agree with some things posted, but not always everything. Such is life. Are there really a bunch of haters taking time out of their day to comment here? I guess HBH and T live rent-free in their heads; why else would someone make the conscious choice to click on this site if they hated T and everything about HBH? But alasโ€ฆthis is the state of the world right now. Anyone in the spotlight โ€“ particularly WOMEN and their supporters/fans โ€“ is often the victim of online harassment. For exampleโ€ฆmusicians (Taylor!), athletes (Caitlin!), and apparently bloggers/cookbook authors (Tieghan!). These women are following a dream, and through hard work and perseverance, theyโ€™ve found success at something they are passionate about. None of them are doing anything to harm anyone. Theyโ€™re actually doing the oppositeโ€ฆinspiring others. Letโ€™s applaud women doing good things. We are all free to disagree with someone or have a different opinion, but to go out of oneโ€™s way to target with hate and juvenile comments is just plain pathetic. And itโ€™s flat-out jealousy. Dear Haters, do yourself a favor and just head over to another blog. Itโ€™s super easy to go somewhere else and never return here. Save yourself the apparent suffering you seem to be experiencing while visiting this blog. PS: Not related.

    1. Very well said, Nicole. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป I couldnโ€™t agree more, and Iโ€™m not related either. These haters are just bitter and mean.

      1. You do realize that Tieghan not only steals recipes from other bloggers (documented and verified many, many times), she has disrespected various cultures over and over. Do any of you watch her stories on Instagram where she shrieks at her family members, mispronounces ethnic words and then shrugs and says, โ€œwhateverโ€โ€ฆ if you only read this blog, you are getting a VERY white washed version of HBH.

        1. Wrong.

Charlotte, your vile insinuations are not only unfounded but also malicious. Itโ€™s apparent that your intent is to indulge in character assassination out of sheer jealousy and spite. How sad.

Your bogus claim that Tieghan โ€œstealsโ€ recipes is so stupidly played out. Nobody โ€œownsโ€ a recipe, and there are literally millions, yes, MILLIONS of variations of anything you will find on this blog all over the internet. Countless others have made similar dishes before, and even more will after. Stop with the nonsense, please. The constant, infantile attacks from your petty little hate group only highlight your own lack of integrity, and your blatant distortion of reality reveals more about your own prejudices and biases than it does about Tieghanโ€™s character.

Nitpicking insignificant details in a desperate attempt to vilify her, and extrapolating isolated events and using them to smear someoneโ€™s entire persona is not only disingenuous but also pathetic and embarrassing.

Your jealousy of Tieghanโ€™s success is palpable in your venomous words and constant tr0lling. Instead of trying to tear others down, why not focus on improving yourself and your own endeavors? Resorting to baseless accusations and slander only reflects poorly on your own character.

Instead of wasting your energy on this asinine witch-hunt, perhaps you should redirect it towards something more constructive.

        2. Charlotte please touch grass. Your frothing at the mouth delusional obsession with HBH is creepy. Go find something else to do.
