Nine Favorite Things โ something new soon!ย
After returning home from LA last week, I spent the week in the kitchen. I spent part of Sunday prepping for that big photoshoot I mentioned last week. I was so nervous for Monday. But Iโm happy to share that all went really well and Iโll be able to share more details very soon!
To say I was relieved once we completed the shoot would be an understatement. It took me a minute to recoup, but the rest of the week was spent cooking and shooting. Iโll be traveling a little more than usual in November and December, so Iโm doing my best to work ahead. This means thinking about Thanksgiving! Which is just crazy, but Iโm looking forward to creating a whole new Thanksgiving menu for you all.
You have to let me know if thereโs anything specific youโre really wanting to see this year! Or how I can best help you all to have the BEST holiday season yet! I really want to make this yearโs content fit for you all and yet still be so special. Iโm really excited!
Iโve already ordered new holiday decor and pieces for upcoming tablescapes and holiday cocktails too. Wahoo!
Asher has taken on the task of unboxing everything and sheโs sure having fun with all the holiday pieces. Itโs made us both so excited. I made her our very first mug of hot chocolate for the cozy season. We had two days of snow and FREEZING temperatures, so of course hot chocolate was on the menu. Sheโs the sweetest.
Also, Chicago Iโm coming to see you all! Sharing details on our events below. Canโt wait!
Thatโs all Iโve got โ Happy Sunday! Ideally, Iโll be burning a pumpkin smash candle while baking my favorite pumpkin cookies today!

So excited! I will be in Chicago this week for 2 LIVE events. The first with Ulta Beauty and the second with Williams-Sonoma.
Snif Ulta Beauty Meet and Greet โ Thursday, October 19th
Iโll be hosting a meet-and-greet at the Ulta Beauty in downtown Chicago on October 19th from 5-7 PM CT. Weโre launching the Pumpkin SMASH candle in select Ulta Beauty stores across the US!!
Tickets are FREE, you can get themย here (the first 150 to show with a ticket are guaranteed access to the meet-and-greet opportunities).
Weโll also be having some fun giveaways, including a chance to enter a raffle for a yearโs worth of Snif candles. And whatโs even more exciting? Youโll get a free sample of another secret project weโve been working on thatโs coming in November! Itโs going to be so much fun!
Williams Sonoma Lincoln Park, Chicago โ Friday, October 20th
Weโve already had an overwhelming amount of sign-ups for the Ulta beauty event so we decided to add one more Meet and Greet in Chicago!ย On Friday, October 20th, Iโll be at the Williams Sonoma Lincoln Park at 6 pm CT. I didnโt want to miss anyone on this trip (sorry about last time).ย So if youโre interested in meeting up with me, and you canโt make it to Ulta on Thursday, then Friday at Williams Sonoma is the event for you! I will be signing books in addition to our Pumpkin Smash candle. You can purchase the 2 together, which would be the cutest holiday or hostess gift.ย
Reserve your tickets here โ looking forward to this so much!
Got this idea from this Cup of Joe Post. So cute and fun!
Without a doubt, skincare. Youโll have your skin forever and ever. Take care of it now and the less youโll have to do as you age. I look at skincare as an investment in my health.
A nice hotel room, every time. This has been a GAME CHANGER for me in terms of travel. Knowing I will be staying in a comfortable place while traveling has actually helped me love traveling. I love staying in a pretty hotel, it makes me want to travel more.
A cast iron skillet โ get yourself a nice one, trust me. Youโll use it just about every day for the rest of your life. Mine see more use than you could ever guess.
Breville Espresso โ I use my espresso machine every single morning. Itโs part of my morning routine. I canโt imagine getting through the morning without it!

I love when you put up your favorite things with links, and recipes the pictures are so beautiful and how you write it leaves me wanting to read it all please keep these coming!!!
Aw thank you so much Amy! ๐ xT
Please spend more time developing and testing your recipes. Iโve just noticed the recipes havenโt been written well and donโt turn out lately. Also lots of repeated ingredients with a slight variationsโฆ there is no way to continue churning out high quality recipes at the speed you do. I think your followers would rather have one amazing recipe a week that is tested and works rather than a mediocre variation of the same stuff everyday.
Hey Susan! Thank you so much for this feedback. I will be sure to be more throughly reviewing recipes. It can be tricky to get them perfect each time! I Always try to do my best! Thanks again for the feedback! Xx
I love reading these every week! Youโre awesome Tieghan!!
Thank you Cassie!!
I wish youโd get the thanksgiving menu out earlier so Canadians could use it in October
Next year maybe?
Hey! Thank you so much for letting me know, Iโm so sorry about that! xT
Gosh, the Fall colours are stunning in your part of the world! I rarely see the โorangesโ here in Ontario, but reds and yellows and russets are gorgeous. I have a maple tree in my front yard that looks like itโs on fire, itโs so brilliantly red! Such a short lived beautiful time of year! Questionโฆlol. My eye โzeroedโ in on that ring on your left hand in your first picture? Is there something I missed? Loving your Fall recipes too โค๏ธ
Thank you so much! Wow, that sounds so gorgeous! And oh, thatโs just a normal ring I was wearing on my left hand haha, you didnโt miss any news! xT
Reading this a few days later than usual, as I have been feeling poorly, typical for this time of year, but hey ho. A great read as always though and love seeing all your favourites and your adventures for the coming week. A hot chocolate sounds like just the ticket to help fend off a seasonal cold ๐ Have a great week.
Hope you are feeling better Colleen! Thank you so much for following along! xT
I am faithful reader of your column and recipes. You mentioned the town of Adare, Ireland. The Manor is more spectacular than one can explain. If you want photo shoots, this is your place. The town is absolutely the quintessential of charm and thatโs why itโs been awarded the โTiny Town of Irelandโ award. And donโt miss the 100-year Lebonan tree. Iโll look forward to seeing your pictures and reading Your many adventurers.
Thank you so much for the input! xT
Would love it if you could come to Toronto Ontario, Canada. Appreciate all the detail in your posts. Enjoy reading every weekend. Thank you.
Thank you so so much Marlie! xT
I am having trouble with the link for the cast iron akillet . Can you please help?
Hi Marla! Here are some of my favorite kitchen items, including the skillet! https://fett-weg.today/kitchen/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
You say a nice hotel room is worth every penny. Fouquetโs looks like its cheapest room is $1,100/night, and the suites you stay in are much more expensive. Are you paying for that, or is it comped by the hotel, or paid for by whatever partner youโre working with? Itโs never marked as sponsored. Itโs easy to say thatโs worth every penny if itโs costing you zero pennies, but a weekend there would be more than my mortgage!
Hey Kaitlin! Thanks so much for the comment. I am paying for my own hotel room, itโs not comped by the hotel. I share because I love the hotel, not because they allow me to stay there for free. If something is sponsored, I will always disclose of that. Hope that clears things up for you! Thank you! Have great rest of the week!! xx
That still makes you incredibly out of touch with your audience to now proudly share you pay out of pocket for this hotel. Your suite there was either $3300 or $3700 a night by the looks of the pictures and you were recently there for almostโฆ whatโฆ two weeks? Thatโs as much as some people make in a YEAR, tieghan.
I donโt think Tieghan deserves this kind of criticismโฆ sheโs clearly worked incredibly hard to achieve her level of success, and she deserves to live the kind of lifestyle she wants. She is nothing but kind and gracious in her comments, and doesnโt have any kind of bad attitude at all. You arenโt required to read the life blog posts of someone whose life you envy to the point of mean spirited comments!
Where can I submit questions for the NFT q&a? Is the comment section here the best place? It seems like weโve been getting a lot of repeats lately!
Hey Denise! Yes, feel free to ask any questions here on this blog post! ๐ xT
Which European locations are you traveling to? Looking forward to that content !!
Still figuring out our full itinerary! ๐ xT
