Getting ready to ring in 2018 with my 24 favorite winter appetizer and cocktail recipes.
With New Yearโs Eve just a few days away, I wanted to share 24 of my very favorite appetizers and cocktails to help ring in the the start of 2018. If thereโs one thing every good New Years Eve celebration needs, itโs a few really delicious appetizers and of courseโฆreally great drinks.
For Christmas Eve this year, my family and I headed to a party at a friendโs house. Normally, we will do dinner at our house with beef tenderloin and the fixings, but this year we went with something a little different. The party was a potluck and I was asked to bring booze and as many appetizers as possible. As you guys know, I donโt make appetizers often, but whenever I do I always say I need to make more, because um, hello? Appetizers are the BEST.
Thankfully I have plenty of yummy (ahhโฆand cheesy) appetizers, and even more cocktails in the Half Baked Harvest recipe archive that are screaming, โMAKE MEโ. I sifted through them, and below are 24 of my familyโs very favorite appetizers and drinks. I made everyone do a vote on Christmas Eve night and these are the recipes that have been deemed โthe best of the bestโ.

I like this roundup of favorite appetizers and drinks for the new year. I rarely make appetizers but made your prosciutto and brie rolls for chiristmas and everyone seemed to really enjoy them! I might have to make your pretzels with your tamale chili tomorrow for a nice winter meal. ๐ Do you have any dessert recipe ideas for after the holidays? I feel like itโs tough to find simple desserts for the new year that arenโt too Christmas-y. Also, are you doing your nine favorites posts after the new year?
