If you’re craving a fast, fall-ish dinner, this maple-glazed salmon is it—sweet, a little spicy, and perfectly caramelized on the edges.
Everything happens on one pan for easy prep and even easier cleanup. Serve with roasted squash or a crisp apple salad and you’ve got a weeknight win.

Those mashers from Monday would make the perfect side to this maple glazed baked salmon…with roasted brussels sprouts and pears because ahh, it’s fall!
For some reason as soon as the days get cold and the nights get looooonnnng, I forget all about seafood. Like it literally leaves my brain and does not return again until spring. I know, this is horrible, but all my mind wants to think about is all the cozy foods, like pasta, soup, and roasted chicken. Well, I changed my thought process this week and made us all salmon…fall inspired salmon, of course. And I promise, it’s just as cozy and delicious as any roasted chicken. Especially with this maple-soy glaze, roasted brussels sprouts and pears. AND, it could be even cozier when served with a side of these cheesy mashed potatoes. <–do this, obviously.

One-pan, weeknight-friendly; minimal chopping.
Balanced sweet-heat glaze; crisp edges, tender center.
Flexible: roast veggies alongside for a full sheet-pan dinner.
Salmon: I like skin on filets.
Maple syrup: I prefer pure maple syrup.
Soy/tamari/coconut aminos: Depending on how much saltiness you like.
Citrus: The orange juice lifts the sweetness.
Veg add-ins: I love using Brussels sprouts here, but any veggie you like will work.

This is my go-to recipe for salmon. When I’m in a hurry, I just make the sauce, let the salmon sit for the 15 minutes and bake. It’s delicious and very easy, thank you!

Happy Wednesday!!🫐🍒🍓 I’m so glad to hear that this recipe turned out well for you, thanks for making it and your feedback! xT
Made this tonight & it was delicious 🙂
We did half the maple syrup & it definitely was more of a sauce than a glaze so if you want the glaze maybe stick
to the recipe but we loved it!
Hi Erin,
Happy Wednesday!! 🌞 Love to hear that this recipe turned out well for you, thanks so much for making it! xT
Hi! a great mid-week recipe for salmon. Used glaze on large fillet and it was fantastic.
My usual dijon and honey recipe has been sidelined! No pears, so made with apples.
Really special with mashed potatoes, too. Thanks once again for a game-changer approach.

Hi! I want to make this tonight but is there something I could use instead of orange juice? 🙂 or is it crucial for the recipe
Hey Lindzie,
Another fruit juice would also work for you! I hope this recipe turns out amazing, please let me know if you give it a try! xT
This is SO good and so easy! My husband’s client dropped off some pears fresh from the orchard and I was looking for ways to use them. I always trust your recipes and this one did not disappoint. Even used the right amount of cayenne! Served with wild rice, a salad, and a glass of wine.
Hey Donna,
Happy Friday! I am so glad this recipe was enjoyed, thanks a lot for making it! xTieghan
The glaze was so easy to make and tasted so good with the salmon. The cayenne pepper added a great kick!
Thank you so much Katherine! xTieghan
Made this recipe a couple of times and the family absolutely loved it! The roasted pears are so good and the addition of the pomegranate helps to cut through all the sweetness.
However I have a slight problem! The skin of my fillets all end up soggy and unedible, and I just end up removing it before serving and chucking it. Was just wondering if you have any tips on crisping up the skin?
Hi Xin! so happy you love this recipe! So I didn’t mean for the skin to be eaten with this recipe, BUT try flipping the salmon over so that it is skin side up and then broil it for 1-2 minutes until it is crisp. That should do it! let me know if you have questions. 🙂
This recipe is INCREDIBLE! Who would have thought that roasted pears would be the perfect addition to a dish? Total game-changer. Thank you so much for sharing this!
Thanks so much, Allison!
This salmon glaze is unbelievable. Unbelievable. I will be making this glaze over and over again from this time forward, until I get sick of it. Thank you! I love your blog and your Instagram feed, every recipe I have tried of yours has been delightful.
I am so glad you love it Nasilele! Thank you!
We made this last night and all I can say is WOW! We ate in silence because it is that good! We used apples and they cooked perfectly, along with everything else! We will definitely be making this again! 🙂
Ah yay!! Thanks so much!!
