Every good party needs a great cocktail, and this Holiday Pear Sangria is just that. It’s my favorite festive drink to serve up this season. White wine mixed with pear brandy, fresh pears, cranberries, winter citrus, spices, and a splash of ginger beer. It’s sweet, refreshing, so easy to make, and perfect for all holiday parties.

To celebrate the season, I recently traveled to New York City to host a very fun and special holiday event and cookbook signing with Harry & David. I walked everyone through how I create the perfect holiday cheese board, signed books, and chatted the night away. It was so fun to get meet some of you in person, and to hear your stories of how you came to find me and Half Baked Harvest. It was truly such a special night. I’m SO grateful for all of you who continue to read and make HBH recipes in your kitchen.
As mentioned, I teamed up with Harry & David to create a festive holiday cheese board. To go along with it, I created this sweet pear sangria you see here. Both of which were served at the event. This sangria is one of my favorites, it’s great for easy holiday entertaining!

To make this sweet pear sangria, simply mix white wine with a little apple or pear brandy, then add in seasonal fruits like pears, cranberries, and winter citrus. I love topping my sangria off with ginger beer for a nice spicy kick. So delicious and refreshing.
You can make this up to couple of days ahead, perfect for the busy hostess.

Since not all of you could attend the event in NYC I wanted to share some photos. I’d also like to gift one reader a Gift Basket and a 12 Month delivery to the Fruit of the Month Club!

Picking out and decorating the Christmas tree!
My favorite tradition is sitting around the living room with the whole family and listening to my mom read Charles Dickens “Scrooge” even when we were all little she used to read the whole book every year.
Love this. My favorite tradition has been that we have a gingerbread house decorating party and invite all our friends.
Followed both on Instagram.
We have so many and I love that my children look forward to (and remind me) of every single one of them. Two of my favorites are making homemade gingerbread houses, and the kids (even my oldest ones) all waiting at the top of the stairs until we tell them to come down Christmas morning. The anticipation is magical!
The event was SO fun! Can’t wait to try your tips over Christmas! My favorite holiday tradition is game night!
My favorite holiday tradition is family… After a morning hike to a Colorado mountain… Spending time with family and friends (including our Golden’s) enjoying food, treats, games, and laughter.
baking christmas gingerbread men!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending the whole day in my new pajamas watching movies and playing games with my family while we snack on cookies!
My favorite tradition is stringing popcorn together to put on the Christmas tree. We would always poke ourselves as kids but the fresh baked cookies and laughs as a family always made it worth it.
Cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning!
This recipe looks great! My favorite holiday tradition is having my grandparents join my parents and I for Christmas morning. They come over early for coffee, we open presents, and then have a big, festive breakfast together!
My favorite holiday tradition is honestly that silly Elf on the shelf. We all get involved hiding it and making silly senarios for that little guy. He’s left gifts, notes on mirrors and even went zip lining from the tree.
Christmas morning breakfast – sticky buns and l’il smokies.

I love major meal planning and cooking for all of my kids when they come home
I get out the family recipes and bake goodies to giveaway. My favorite is my grandma’s date nut roll.
