Every good party needs a great cocktail, and this Holiday Pear Sangria is just that. It’s my favorite festive drink to serve up this season. White wine mixed with pear brandy, fresh pears, cranberries, winter citrus, spices, and a splash of ginger beer. It’s sweet, refreshing, so easy to make, and perfect for all holiday parties.

To celebrate the season, I recently traveled to New York City to host a very fun and special holiday event and cookbook signing with Harry & David. I walked everyone through how I create the perfect holiday cheese board, signed books, and chatted the night away. It was so fun to get meet some of you in person, and to hear your stories of how you came to find me and Half Baked Harvest. It was truly such a special night. I’m SO grateful for all of you who continue to read and make HBH recipes in your kitchen.
As mentioned, I teamed up with Harry & David to create a festive holiday cheese board. To go along with it, I created this sweet pear sangria you see here. Both of which were served at the event. This sangria is one of my favorites, it’s great for easy holiday entertaining!

To make this sweet pear sangria, simply mix white wine with a little apple or pear brandy, then add in seasonal fruits like pears, cranberries, and winter citrus. I love topping my sangria off with ginger beer for a nice spicy kick. So delicious and refreshing.
You can make this up to couple of days ahead, perfect for the busy hostess.

Since not all of you could attend the event in NYC I wanted to share some photos. I’d also like to gift one reader a Gift Basket and a 12 Month delivery to the Fruit of the Month Club!

My parents have a set of old Christmas albums that came in a blue box. I think they’re older than me and probably were bought through an ad on TV. Every year they play those records. I always look forward to that.

It’s a wonderful night, full of Christmas magic.
Fav holiday tradition: not opening presents until after everyone finished a big breakfast. It was torture when I was little but I learned to live it. Plus we get to eat yummy good all day!
